I envisioned a peaceful, relaxing time in a cabin. The cabin backed up, a few yards from a 2-lane road with posted speed of 35mph. At times it sounded like we were on a raceway with speeding vehicles during the night. Had a car run off the road, it likely would have crashed through the back of the cabin where we were trying to sleep. We slept very little and left a day early. Sofa in living area was not comfortable, and beds were not great. Owner made me feel less than because, according to her, we didn't have the same experience as others. Everyone has different experiences, and this place might be great for some, but not us.
The area has limited lodging which is why I selected these property. The tiny loft home was my only option after a long travel day. The home was clean but it did reek of bug spray which given my sensory sensitivities was overwhelming. I only stayed for a night. The bed was located in the loft which being 5'3 had to crawl to the bed. I dont reccomend to anyone who is claustrophobia. I was alone and felt safe. Check-in/check-out + parking were easy. Staff was friendly.
We had a family cabin and it was well stocked and clean. The beds are pretty comfortable too. The only complaint would be the staff member we encountered, she wasn’t over friendly. But the maintenance person in amazing! He fixed the one issue we had within minutes!
Be certain to read the captions under the photos posted; both the small and larger cabins photos are posted in description. From the photos we thought our cabin would be larger than what it was. When closely looking at the photos we discovered that the photos for the larger cabins were in the small cabins listing.
The bed was comfortable and there was a good kitchen set up. I was disappointed that the picture of the room online did not match my cabin. The room was suppose to come with a large tub and instead was a very cramped bathroom with a small shower. I checked with the staff member and there are only 3 tubs on the property. There is a hot tub but it is for only one of the rentals. Nothing was done to correct the situation.
Nice mix of types of spaces to stay(regular rooms, RVs, campsites, cabins, new and old), pleasant and easy check in, room clean. But we stayed in an older cabin (our friends stayed in a newer one that was great. But ours was older and had a terrible smell mainly in one room. Good location near Rialto Beach and First Beach.
The wifi is not as expected, though there are several different ones, but none of them could be used in the bedroom.
We had a late check in and Hope was wonderful in making sure everything was ready and prepared for us. They went above and beyond what we expected, our only regret was that we weren’t able to spend more time there!
Soma and rocket will forever live in my heart. Beautiful location, beautiful stay. Can't say anything bad. It was truly amazing
The room we were in cabin #7 did not have air conditioning. We opened the window and used a fan which worked well. Highly recommend a window unit is installed. Close to town, staff was accommodating, had a blast.
We had an amazing time at the tiny house Rialto. It was a great oasis. We loved the private hot tub - great after hiking all day! Campground could use some clean up and renovation. Great service. Freindly staff. Would definitely stay again!!
There was no electricity, the bed was uncomfortable, and there was no discount for the inconvenience of no electric the entire stay.
Safe comfortable well maintained property. Cabins have good kitchen facilities although very few dishes. I wish the restaurant or the store was open for breakfast.
Price is on the high side
The “hotel clerk” was a convenience store clerk. Should not be advertised as a hotel. No air conditioning, had flies buzzing around inside upon arrival, sweating all night due to no a/c. Left at 10:30 pm because of how bad the place was.
Nice place
.
Nice property has a restaurant on site and a small store. It was quiet and has lots of room. Its pretty close to rialto beach
Loved staying at this cabin. Super cozy and clean. Had all the basics (linens, dishes, dish soap etc.)
Check in was smooth and the person who checked us in was very friendly. Nice to walk around the property and enjoy the scenery. Close to beaches. Store on site. Didn’t get to try the food.
We enjoyed our stay, thanks
Old and somewhat rundown....way overpriced for what you get
The good: room was clean. Location was not bad at all (between Rialto beach and Forks).
Substandard: the food. The rooms were tiny to really tiny (almost not useable!). Hard to negotiate around the very adequate beds. Not many places to stash personal items in the the BR nor the bedrooms. The one couch was not not good or comfortable. My brother (77 yrs old) had another room for himself that had a "loft bed" that was difficult to get in to. The ascent to the loft was very precipitous, and he could not stand up straight at all in the loft. His LR and unit was tiny as well. The whole complex seems a bit "make-shift". Does it work?... yes, but nothing special.
The restaurant was very basic and crowded, not no special distinction.
It was pretty pricy, but probably the going rate for these uncertain times, and location.
