Tree of Life Indra Mandala Hotel, Gangtok

Excellent staff. Probably the best staff any hotel can have. Food was also excellent. My children also had a fabulous time.

Very serene with a great view from the room. Food was just absolutely perfect and on-demand. The chef went the length to prep for us what we wanted even if it wasn't on the menu. Siddharth helped us plan our tour through the city. Anil literally escorted us to Fambong Loh when we told him the google maps location seemed inaccurate. Mohan and Sunita were very kind and helpful in each and every interaction. Rooms were squeaky clean with the smell of traditional incense every day and evening. Toiletries were on-point. Coffee was drawn from a Rancilio machine with local Bermiok beans that were absolutely delicious. Breakfast was specially made each morn. Nepali and Tibetan cuisines felt original and delicious. Laundry service was super quick. There is a waterfall right next we could hear it trickle day and night. Pizza was delicious too. Food pricing was very reasonable.

I stayed at Indra Mandala for 6 nights and had a truly special experience. The hotel is elegant, peaceful, and welcoming; I felt like a real guest, not just a room number.
The staff were one of the highlights of my stay. They were always kind, polite, and helpful. Whether I was unwell or needed help with something outside, they took care of it right away and with warmth.
The restaurant was another star. While the momos were excellent, the real treat was the Tibetan and Newari dishes, which are hard to find elsewhere in Gangtok. If you want to try quality Himalayan food, this is the place. I looked forward to dinner each night. Breakfast was included and à la carte, and the complimentary high tea was a lovely extra.
My room was clean and comfortable, with big windows that gave the feeling of a balcony. Although the view was of a growing city, I enjoyed quiet mornings by the window with a cup of tea. The hotel is in a quiet area at night, but still close to downtown. The internet was good enough to stream a film online, which came in handy when I was feeling sick.
I also took easy day trips to Rumtek, Fambong Lho, and Phensang from here.
This hotel made my visit to Gangtok feel personal and memorable. I would happily stay again.

5star service for 2 star cost. I visited during off season. hospitality and service was too good. super happy with staff and rooms. Bit far from the central city but if you have your own vehicle nothing like it. Food menus is mostly Nepalese but the chef is kind enough to make you what you need.

This Hotel was definetly the best we stayed in during our time in India. The whole Team was so kind and welcoming and always taking care of any wishes. The whole place was very clean and nice. Also they had awesome food. Big recommendation to try the jhol momos. The price was more than fair for the service you got! Our stay at Indra Mandala was definetly beyond our expectations.

The location of the property was fantastic. Slightly away from the centre of town making it extremely calm and peaceful.
The staff and even the owner were the epitome of hospitality and I cannot stop singing their praises.
The entire hotel was very well maintained and clean.
The food provided at the hotel was fantastic and gives a taste of the actual cultural food rather than touristy dishes.
The staff very graciously assisted us by helping to arrange cars for any short trip to another part of the state, even providing helpful suggestions on where to go and what to experience.
If you are planning a trip to Sikkim I highly suggest this place, trust me when I say you will not be left wanting.

Excellent hospitality and amazing property. Every small detail has been very well thought through keeping in mind the customer experience. In addition the restaurant offers authentic food with the best in class experience.

The location is outside gangtok and quiet. The Newari and Tibetan food is amazing. Definitely try their burgers. The staff is the most welcoming.and hospitable.
