Es genügt wohl zu sagen, dass wir nach Besichtigung des Zimmers abgereist sind!

Die Toiletten des Restaurants waren extrem schmutzig. Auf meinen Hinweis diesbezüglich an der Rezeption wurde mir gesagt, man hätte an diesem Tag eine größere Gesellschaft, und das sei wohl der Grund für den Zustand der Toiletten! Was ist das für eine Begründung??Und das noch in einem sogenannten 4 Sterne Hotel!!!Wir hatten eine Suite gebucht, aber dieses Hotel verfügt über gar keine Suite. Stattdessen gab man uns ein sehr einfach ausgestattetes Doppelzimmer und mit einem 2. Schlüssel noch einen kleinen Raum mit einer ausklappbaren Schlafcouch , das ist KEINE Suite. Nach sehr ärgerlichen Diskussionen mit einem Hotelmitarbeiter an der Rezeption und mehreren hilfreichen Telefonaten mit booking.com wurde uns schließlich vom Direktor des Hotels zugestanden , abzureisen , ohne dass unsere Kreditkarte belastet wurde. Ohne die Kontaktaufnahme von booking.com mit dem Hotel wären wir möglicherweise nicht aus dieser Buchung ohne finanziellen Schaden herausgekommen.

Piscina excelenta,personalul de la piscina….locatia pe malul lacului.

Cons:

Hotel 4 stele….???ok camera economi dar oricum plătită mult,fără frigobar,fără prosoape în ziua sosirii și fără pahare și hirtie igienică a doua zi.Televizorul mic mic ca abia reușești să vezi ceva.Pat dublu cu o saltea tare și una moale 🥴.Mic dejun tip bufet dar dacă te duci la ora 9 nu mai găsești nimic.Personalul nu curăță mesele,nu pune în bufet ceea ce lipsește …iar clienții își curăță singuri sau își aseaza masa singuri .Nu este foarte aproape de centrul orașului taxiul 14-15 euro pt 2 km.Dar este foarte aproape de lac și acolo este plin de restaurante ,baruri,plaje amenajate….unde se poate ajunge pe jos cu o plimbare de 5 minute .

Pros:

Beautiful area! Feels like a movie. Rooms were clean and if there is am amenity needed (ironing board, extra key card) the front desk has no problem assisting with a smile. Surrounding area is lovely, peaceful, and lake is walkable.

As an American tourist, the only caveat is pay attention to when restaurants are open/closed/serving partial menu. Because it's more a local vacation spot, there is not much to do outside of those typical hours. Taxi's are incredibly difficult (there's only 3 in the whole area) so plan to walk or use their little shuttle.

A nice hotel without great transportation options
Pros:

The staff and the facilities were wonderful. We were a little disappointed that although we had a lovely view of the lake, there really was no beach access. The view of the castle is great, and we highly recommend touring it.
The food at the restaurant the first night was amazing. Apparently, different kitchen staff the second night, but the manager comped our meal, so no grudges there.

Cons:

Be aware that taxi service is scarce, so if you don't drive, getting to and from the hotel or the castle will be a challenge. We walked from the train station to the hotel and the traffic on that winding road downto the hotel was a littlescary. We weren't hiking back up that hill with our luggage, so we paid 15 euro for a 5 minute ride with our bags and had to arrive at the train station 2.5 hours before our departure time because the taxi was only available at 9 AM.
