Sehr schönes Ambiente ... die gesamte Einrichtung ist sehr gut aufeinander abgestimmt. Gut, wir hatten auch in der Vorsaison ein kostenloses Upgrade in eine Suite 😀. ABER: es ist ein Ort zum Entspannen und chillen.

Cons:

Kleinigkeit: die Silikonfugen im Bad müssten mal erneuert werden. Ist eher ein Hinweis, als was negatives.

I feel the need to write a longer review, as my initial reaction was quite unpleasant.

Comporta is a charming little place—just one or two streets and about half an hour of walking. There are so many recommendations for it in all the guides, but if you’re not a golfer, have a coffee and move on. Otherwise, you’ll end up paying an excessively high price for a hotel.

It’s a boutique hotel, tastefully decorated, though not with particularly expensive furniture—there’s a noticeable influence from IKEA—but it still has a nice atmosphere. However, it is OVERPRICED. It offers nothing more than a small room and breakfast.

What was especially disappointing was the view from the room. There is a small terrace, but it overlooks a staircase. I don’t know if the other rooms are the same, but we stayed one night and paid €200! Truly outrageously expensive.

It’s true that March is not the high season, but the pool was in very poor condition and not particularly clean. Breakfast was decent.

Pros:

ontbijt was heerlijk en goed gevarieerd . we werden erg leuk welkom geheten met een persoonlijke kaart en een cocktail .
bedden heerlijk en privetuintje wel aardig maar voegt niet heel veel toe .
wandeling naar het strand was wel leuk langs rijstvelden en over boardwalk door de duinen

we hebben gedineerd in t hotel . prijs vond ik hoog voor wat je ervoor kreeg..
zwembad was niet verwarmd noch lagen er kussens op de ligstoelen ivm laagseizoen .
het dorpje zelf viel mij een beetje tegen . veel ooievaars maakten het grappig

très cher pour cette catégorie d’hôtel où il manque quelques éléments
Pros:

La taille de la chambre qui est spacieuse et bien agencée
La terrasse séparée et très grande qui donne sur les rizières de Comporta

Cons:

une certaine nonchalance du personnel sur le service du matin
La salle de bain est très petite et étroite ce qui ne la rend pas très confortable
Le présence de la route en contrebas que l’on entend tous les soirs
La musique trop forte qui nous fait fuir le restaurant du roof top
