Pros:

Wij hadden mooie grote kamer met eigen balkon. Vanaf daar had je mooi uitzicht op de Rijn en het dorp.
Het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Het restaurant heeft prima gerechten.
Vanaf hier kun je op de fiets mooie tochten langs de dorpjes aan de Rijn maken en de Loreley bezoeken.

Cons:

Eigenlijk niet veel. Een waterkokertje op de kamer was perfect geweest.

Freundliches Personal und ein Pluspunkt für Radreisende: Wir durften unsere Fahrräder über Nacht sicher in der Garage abstellen.

Das Zimmer war sehr groß. Die Einrichtung ist zwar etwas in die Jahre gekommen, aber alles war sauber und vorhanden.

Das Frühstücksbuffet war eher klein, bot aber eine gute Auswahl und qualitativ war alles in Ordnung. Auch das Abendessen im Restaurant war solide und hat gut geschmeckt.

Cons:

Direkt vor dem Hotel verläuft eine Bahnlinie. Die Züge waren – auch nachts – hörbar, insgesamt hielt sich die Lärmbelastung aber in Grenzen.

Pros:

Sijainniltaan hyvä hoteĺli kaupungin keskustassa. Auton sai parkkiin hotellin viereen. Huoneen ilmastointi toimi hyvin. Aamiainen kohtuullinen.

Cons:

Oberwesel vaikutti täysin tyhjältä kaupungilta. Keskustan liikkeet pääosin kiinni ja keskustassa vain muutama ravintola. Huoneeseen piti kävellä kapeat portaat painavien matkalaukkujen kanssa. Huoneen luvattu näköala oli joelle päin, mutta välissä oli rautatie ja joen ranta oli tietyömaata. Ensimmäisenä yönä majoittujia oli lisäksemme vain yhdessä huoneessa ja toisena yönä olimme ainoat asiakkaat. Ei lukuvaloja. Huoneen hinta laatuun ja palveluihin nähden aivan liian korkea. Jopa pysänöinnistä joutui maksamaan tyhjässä kaupungissa.

Gorgeous historic hotel
Pros:

The building was so beautiful and historic, and the included breakfast was delicious. The location was right in the centre of town, so very convenient for exploring. The staff were very welcoming and friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable. We would happily stay here again!

Cons:

We were there during a heatwave, so unfortunately the second floor room we had was a little hot, since there was no air conditioning. If these heatwaves continue it would be good if a fan (even just a small one) would be provided already in the room. We slept with the window open, so this helped.

Pros:

Midden in het centrum, alles op loopafstand. Nette schone kamers. Heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel. Je krijgt een parkeerkaart voor de auto(buiten de stadsmuur). Restaurant is ook fantastisch!

Pros:

Gute Lage in Oberwesel. Das Zentrum des Ortes ist ist ganz nett, doch das Ufer zum Rhein ist leider durch die Bahn und Strasse „verbauen“.

Cons:

Unser Zimmer war in 2. Stock. Leider gibt es in diesem historischen Haus keinen Lift. Die Einrichtung des Zimmers ist Geschmacksache.

Fabulous ‘homely’ feel. Great history of the area. Locality is wonderful. Staff were very helpful. Would highly recommend. This will be the only hotel we stay at when we are in the area.

Cons:

Coffee making facilities in the room would be great but we understand that this is not usual in this type of hotel.”

Schönes Hotel. Sehr freundliches Personal
Pros:

Kleines und feines Hotel im Zentrum des Ortes. Sehr gepflegtes Fachwerkhaus. Das Zimmer war gemütlich und das Bett sehr bequem. Das Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Rührei oder Spiegelei werden frisch zubereitet.

Schönes gutes Hotel im Mittel-Rhein-Tal nahe der Lorelei.
Pros:

Schönes Hotel, direkt am Marktplatz von Oberwesel mit Busverbindung Vorort. Sehr freundlicher Service und gute Beratung zu Events oder Ausflüge in und um Oberwesel. Grosse geräumige helle Zimmer mit Aussicht auf das Rheintal und Weinberge. Reichhaltiges Frühstücks-Buffet und auf Anfrage werden Eierspeisen frisch zubereitet. Parkplätze befinden sich ebenfalls reichlich in der Nähe.

Cons:

Das Hotel befindet sich in der Nähe einer Bahn. Bei geöffneten Fenster kann man die vorbeifahrenden Züge gut hören. Auf der Webseite wird eine Thailändische Küche angeboten, gibt es nicht mehr, stattdesse gute deutsche Küche.

Sehr hilfsbereites Personal
Pros:

Sehr freundliches und hilfsbereites Personal. Wir waren für ein Konzert auf der Loreley dort und das Hotel hat uns den Shuttle gebucht und genau erklärt, wie wir dort hinkommen - vielen Dank!!!! Zimmer waren sehr sauber und Wasser war ausreichend vorhanden auf den Zimmern!

Cons:

Zimmer ein wenig altbacken, aber sauber! Frühstück war in Ordnung, aber für durchschnittlich €100 pro Person, könnte es etwas hochwertiger sein, ABER wir sind alle satt geworden ;)

Central location in charming building
Pros:

Location is right in the center of the town, within an old monument building. Breakfast choices were good, with very delicious coffee served. Staff was very friendly and we had no problems with parking as well. We told the staff and they told us where to park close by.
