Pros:

The hotel staff were lovely, we were upgraded to a deluxe room with a hot tub, as it was my partners 50th birthday. Also a lovely touch, a bottle of prosecco waiting in the room with a card.

Good, but could be better
Pros:

Our experience was generally good, the staff both on reception and in the restaurant were very pleasant. The food was disappointing as it didn’t live up to its expectations of the menu, which was a shame.

There was a lot of noice coming from the outside patio area as people used this space for smoking and vaping. Our room over looked this, you could hear a lot of noise even with the window closed along with the various smells from the smoke.

Pros:

Room was small but perfect for what we were after, and It included toiletries and tea making facilities. We had a private hot tub which was brilliant.
The was a good selection at breakfas,t but at dinner there were quite a lot of meals unavailable, but what we had was very nice.
The hotel was generally quite shabby but that is the intention I think and it did add to its charm.

Lovely stay at Runa Farm
Pros:

Food was lovely although my wife’s breakfast order was incorrect. Got black pudding and tomato despite asking not to have. A bit of a waste but rest of food was excellent.
Bed was very comfortable.

What an utterly lovely find this place is. Quiet, rural views, clean, fabulous staff and exceptional facilities. There are lovely little touches in the rooms which makes the whole stay feel like a proper treat. I can’t wait to go back.

Pros:

Runa farm was a brilliant place to stay and i only wish i had more time there. the only thing i would say needed changing in my room would be to get a proper kingsize mattress or a topper so you can feel the zip and one of the chairs sort of blocks access to the shower

We had an absolutely amazing stay! The hotel itself was beautiful, but the highlight was definitely the hot tub – the perfect addition for a truly relaxing getaway. From the moment we arrived, everything felt effortless and welcoming. The staff in the restaurant were fantastic—so friendly and attentive, making the experience even more enjoyable. The food was outstanding, full of flavour and beautifully presented, and the cocktails were just perfect. Every little detail made the stay feel special, and I wouldn’t hesitate to return.
