This house is amazing, beds are super comfortable, very clean, great facilities. Beats a hotel room any day.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the GG Barnum Mansion. Wonderful property. We had confusion at checkin, we had to call after we arrived o get a guidebook and lock combination.
Staff was very responsive through a couple bumps in the road. I highly recommend this property it was beautiful and the location was peaceful.
Very unique property with lots of character and history,fresh made ,breakfast snacks and coffee was a tasteful bonus
A shower built for someone maybe 5 feet tall doesn't cut it in 2025.
A shower full of black mold-means we probably won’t ever be coming back.
Oh yeah, the hair dryer will probably start a fire if its left in use for much longer. Its got a cracked handle and the electric cord gets hot to the touch after using, or attempting to use..
Neat place, but you can do a tad better.
I would have liked to receive the check-in info much earlier. Using my phone number was good, but I feel I got the information somewhat late. The morning food could have also been mentioned with signup. It was hard to find out how to turn up the sound on the TV, and my phone and Ipad couldn't find the wifi channel. It never showed up even when I type it repeatedly. With no one there, it was hard to get info.
What a lovely find this was! Our room was really beautiful but also functional and comfortable. This is possibly the first hotel/rental place I’ve stayed where the couch was actually comfortable lol. Nice quiet neighborhood, and didn’t hear any more noise from other guests than you do at a standard hotel. We will definitely stay again!

Only wish they had a better way to get your luggage up to the third floor. No elevator.

Beautiful historic home set up like a hotel. Rooms are great public areas are very nice.
The property was super cute, and the staff was super quick to respond. They even gave us a care package for a run (Grandma’s). Would stay here again.

Nice place, Have been there before, Booked on the day of arrival, so understand that coffee, popcorn ... isn't stocked. But, couldn't get the ceiling light switch to work. Nice sauna. May have tried it if I hadn't arrived so late. Looking forward to you planting the grounds. Love the sound of the creek.
The property is very nice and well kept up. It is a unique place and we had a wonderful time!
Beautiful place!! I loved how it was decorated, the colors in the bathroom. Beautiful view of the lake. The outdoor sauna was super cool!! The beds were very comfy. The jacuzzi tub and fireplace were so relaxing. The only thing I wish there was, was darkening curtains. There is a lot of natural lightening in these rooms which is great! But it was a bit blinding in the morning

The room was wonderful and felt more like a small apartment instead of a hotel room. The building had a lot of historic character. The bed was extremely comfortable for a good night rest and the location was peaceful and quiet.
Check in was problematic as the lock codes were sent only a few hours ahead if check in and by text rather that email as previously indicated. The room was nice, but there was mold in the shower and the drinking glasses were clearly previously used (lip balm marks).
