large clean room with a comfortable bed and walk-in shower etc.

Cons:

Staff were very polite and formal, but rather than be genuinely professional and attentive when required, they seemed to have been trained to be overly deferential and constantly hovering around us in large numbers, eg ever present at our table, making conversation impossible. My friend and I did not enjoy being interrupted constantly during dinner by well-meaning staff thinking they were being helpful, despite asking them repeatedly to stop trying to serve us from the dishes on the table (we were not eating the same dishes and had to explain every time), stop topping up our glasses (we were drinking different drinks and had to explain every time) and constantly offering us something else before we had even finished. Although there are changing service cultures and different norms around what is expected in new hotels and restaurants for new markets, this was off the mark and not subtle nor attentive service - it made us feel first uncomfortable, then exasperated, and in the end, really annoyed, so we left early. Not the fault of front of house staff who I assume were just doing what they had been taught to do.

Pros:

The whole staff I met was excellent, and the view was quit good.

Cons:

The property faces a lot of lights issues, it disturbs you while you’re sleeping. Hopefully will not face it again.
