Pros:

Good location. Clean bathroom. Tea, coffee and milk supplied. Towels, hand-wash and toilet tissue supplied and single wardrobe (could do with more storage for a large group). Beds comfortable.

Cons:

Overall, the accommodation feels dated. The room wasn’t in great condition, carpets and doors could use replacing. Some duvets inside could do with a wash or replace. Curtain stained, and the toilet door didn’t close properly. The room is advertised to sleep 6, but as a family of 5 we felt cramped. There was no fan or air con, only a handful of TV channels worked, and filling the kettle in the small bathroom sink was awkward.

The host was covering for someone else and wasn’t very helpful. When I asked about nearby breakfast options or parking, he said he didn’t know. He also declined to show me the room (up 3 flights of stairs) as he was in a rush, and asked if we could vacate by 9am, although our booking stated 10am.

This was a last-minute booking within our budget, but overall we were a little disappointed with both the condition of the room and the service.

Needs updated, check-in was not convenient as not till 5pm however could pay extra to check in earlier. It cost £10 for 2hours which i paid in a Scottish £10 note to which i was asked did i not have English money which i found offensive as i am obviously Scottish & did not expect the additional outlay. Throughout the extra time in the room we had no electricity except for the lights. The toilet door did not close fully which meant there was no privacy when in the very small toilet. The room did not look like the pictures and we did not use any other facilities however there never seemed to be anyone around

Pros:

Quality was absolutely terrible. Seemed like the place was empty but we were placed on the very top floor. Constant beeping from the smoke alarm as it needed a battery which is very worrying if there was a fire!! Disgrace of a place.

There's literally no staff. Nobody was around to let me in. No towels either. Otherwise quite clean and comfortable.

Not worth the money
Pros:

Gentleman was friendly and helpful but wouldn’t say it’s worth the money at all. The window’s didn’t shut properly so the noise was terrible and room very cold and beds were uncomfortable we’ve stayed in better for a lot less money.

This hotel was ok for a night but I don’t know if it has an actual dining area as they charge extra for breakfast which was served in a plastic food container that you’d get from a takeaway place.
