The location is unique, within walking distance of the city palace. Genuine heritage building and friendly staff. Some rooms more spectacular than others.
All in all an excellent choice for the price.
The breakfast is so so, there's a café nearby with better choice.
Emplacement central, jolies cour au calme
Salle de bain grande mais sans rideau pour la douche, peu de serviette, tapis
Great location next to City Palace. Accessible to all main sights and old town bazaars. Great old Haveli building with elevator. Comfortable beds. Good size rooms. Nice authentic haveli decor. Really good place to stay and good value for money.
Breakfast was disappointing. It was adequate but easily could add a few low cost options to improve. No TV in room. Front desk boys some were good others were not as engaging. Other staff were excellent.
We had a fantastic stay at Bloom Boutique l Chelon Haveli. The hotel beautifully combines a historic haveli atmosphere with a very modern and professional standard inside.
Everything was extremely clean and well maintained. The rooms were stylish, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed. The staff was professional and attentive, and the overall organization of the hotel was excellent.
A perfect blend of heritage architecture and contemporary comfort. Highly recommended.
Location
Check-in took about 25 minutes, and most of my cards didn’t work with their machine (though they worked everywhere else during my trip). The location was excellent, but the rooms felt dated (understandable given the building is 290 years old) and quite dusty. My room only had a window in the bathroom, and the hot water ran out after about 5 mins. They won’t clean your room unless you leave the keys at the reception and ask for cleaning. Breakfast was simple but fine, it’s managed separately so you need to pay immediately (₹570).
I also didn’t have a good experience with the driver the hotel recommended (Rajat). I had booked him for 3 days with a set itinerary, but he repeatedly ignored my plans and kept insisting on visiting “factories” instead. Communicating with him was tiring and stressful, so on the 3rd day I switched to Uber – a much smoother and more reliable option. Rajat might suit travellers without fixed plans, but it didn’t work for me. I also took Uber to travel intercity, and it was great (you can pre-book in advance).
Location of the hotel is the best one you can find in Jaipur: Absolutely perfect.
The hotel itself is very typical, an old historical mansion with a lot of rooms, two inner courtyards and a rooftop.
The palace suite that we booked was large, very nice, and temperate (no need for AC).
Several points were sub-optimal, but easy to fix if the management is attentive to reviews.
1. The pillows weren‘t as confortable as I thought which resulted in neck pain on the 2nd day.
2. The breakfast was disappointing, but ok it was inklusive, so it is probably acceptable.
3. Most surprising was the attitude of the receptionnists. It totally lacked of warmth and smiles, which is surprising given how we feel welcomed everywhere else.
4. We didn’t like at all the attitude of the receptionnist when we checked out today at noon. He asked, no he rather requested from us that we write a google review. I told him I would do it later. His told us, unsmiling, that we should do it „now“! As i didn’t do as advised, he refused to look up and say bye when we left the Hotel with a loud „bye! Thank you!“. This was rude by any standards.
5. Last point, I was contacted per whatsapp 3 weeks before check in by the hotel requesting prepayment of 70% of the Reservation price. It turned out to be a scam and that it was not the hotel that contacted me. But they had all Details about my Reservation so there are only 2 possibilities: the Bloom reservation system has been hacked, or the information about my reservation and contact details have been leaked to some people to scam me….
Room was a great size and well laid out with everything I needed. The only disturbing thing for me was the noise from the city as my room was on top floor facing out to the city side. Lots of construction and traffic noise all night. But if you are a good sleeper it may not bother you.
Great gift shop onsite and shop opposite the hotel was great too!
The rooftop restaurant will be great when it is finished!
Neat and clean.
Very pretty.
Excellent location.
Emplacement
Confort de la chambre
Le bruit des travaux
Was modest.
Limited options
L'hôtel est beau, les chambres sont confortables.
L'emplacement de l'hôtel, sur une ruelle presque sordides, bien que très proche des grandes attractions de Jaipur.
The food at the restaurant is very good.
Our room had a lot of character..
The bed is very comfortable.
The staff is fantastic.
The location is excellent
The shower is weak.
Beautifully restored and decorated building. The Palace Suite was the best room we've ever stayed in.
Welcome from front of desk staff was excellent. Friendly, polite and happy to help. Showed us up to the room.
Ate in the restaurant when we arrived in the mid-afternoon. Staff happily accommodated us and the food was good. Probably slightly more expensive than it would be elsewhere, but it was worth it for the convenience.
Good selection of tea in the room, instant coffee etc, and bottled water.
Bed was comfortable. Shower had plentiful hot water. Provided toiletries felt luxurious (in fact, I have used the same brand in the UK in other hotels/accommodations).
Location was great for walking to the main attractions, especially Hawa Mahal, but as others have mentioned, you need to walk to Hawa Mahal for the Uber pick up point.
Walking around Jaipur is quite the experience and might not be for everyone, so if you are wanting to get tuk-tuks right outside the door, you'll probably want to consider somewhere else.
Didn't end up using the Bloom app at all, so can't comment on its efficacy.
Excellent city centre location just down from the Hawa Mahal. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable.
The place was so artistic and so clean . The staff was so nice. The staff in the restaurant was super sweet and so warm. Food also was good.
The access to the place on maps showed a shady alley way. But the other way was okay. Please call the hotel to ask the way to the hotel
A beautiful heritage property. Great staff, especially Rinkesh at reception!
Veg-only breakfast, ok with me, but hotel details should mention this. Some attention to detail required, e. g. chipped mugs in rooms.
It was a lovely place to stay. The staff was helpful with many things
It was difficult for UBER to pick us up.
Location… looks nice from outside, big bedroom and comfy bed…
No frills!
