great location, easy walk to zocalo, friendly staff
Small hotel of 3 rooms only. Rooms are spacious. Staff absolutely lively. Location is perfect, only two blocks to the central plaza - Zocalo
All was great

La ubicación está bien, el lugar es limpio y el desayuno está muy bueno
Que el área de desayuno está frente al cuarto y se escucha el ruido de los otros inquilinos desde muy temprano.
The location. The overall level of comfort.
Little inconveniences and broken things. The doors to the balcony wouldn't close fully. Water leaked out of the shower. There was some noise from the street, but it wasn't too bad. Every time I entered or left the hotel, someone had to come and remove a padlock from the door.
We were so happy that we found this place it was perfect. Excellent location about 1 block from the Zocalo, quiet at night, super kind and helpful staff, giant rooms with aircon, and had an amazing breakfast that changed every day. Could not have had a better experience.
My dad did struggle a bit with the bath/shower combo so if someone has super limited mobility that is something to be aware of.
Exceptional staff. Very kind and lovely to deal with.
The location of the property was perfect was walking distance to all the activities plus the Zocalo and all the Beautiful museums easy to get back to the room. Plus, the room was so insulated that you could not barely hear the outside world - plus.
The water pressure was very, very low. Not just one day but for the whole week that we were there. And the shower bath was constructed in such a way that after your shower, you had to use your towels to soak up all the water that came out of the tub. Not too mention getting
in and out was tough on a non-usage Jacuzzi tub where you had to take your shower. Otherwise, the room was very nice and large and of course Netflix on the TV was the best.
We loved this small bed and breakfast hotel. We chose it because it was close to the zocolo (main square)
Both Veronica and Mara were exceptional hosts. Our breakfasts were delicious with a different entree each morning of our 8 days.
Rooms were spotless.
Veronica booked a tour for us, Ruta 1 which was a wonderful day away. We saw so much of nature, landscapes and culture. That is your best choice for a tour. Cost us $500 pesos plus entry of $220 pesos and includes an amazing buffet lunch. A full day on the road 8 am to 8 pm. Canadian the cost is around $60 for the whole day.
Taxis are readily available outside the front door however they will book a car for you.
Note that nights are quiet and you can get a good rest.
They advertise a hot tub but with a water shortage that was not possible. Please booking.com remove that from the list of
amenities.
Also it’s true about the slippery nylon polyester sheets. It would be nice to have cotton. Minor things really as we slept like logs each night.
Convenient location, nice room, lovely bathroom, view and doors to courtyard, excellent breakfasts, wonderful staff.
Sheets were very uncomfortable, not cotton. A/C didn’t really cool the room. Couldn’t keep courtyard door open because of bugs. 24/7 padlocks on all doors was a little disturbing- unable to get out quickly in emergency. Shower was always cold water.
The staff and location were very good. We were the only people staying there so got more attention.
Internet was not good. The room was okay. AC made loud noises. Bathtub/shower spilled a lot of water out on the floor. Bedsheets were not cotton but polyester.
Very friendly staff, clean and I really appreciated the changes at breakfast because of dietary requirements
Good location
It can be a tiny bit noisy due to open courtyard but it stopped after 22.30
The property is beautiful and meticulously maintained. The room was very comfortable. The bathroom was a challenge with entry and exist of the bathtub being an issue. You have to step up and then a long step down into the tub over the edge of the jetted tub. He exist was more challenging when the tile is wet.
I didn’t like the fact that I feel victim of bait and switch advertising. The property boasts whirlpool tub and shows it prominently in the fotos. However upon arrival we discovered there was no water to the tub. This was not mentioned when we booked or when we checked in. We had just been on a 12 drive to reach Oaxaca and the whirlpool tub was highly anticipated. Well, that dream was gone in an instant when the ask agent said we they don’t work and have not worked in some time. If they don’t work don’t advertise them as an amenity. That is false advertising and not fair to the renter!
The staff was very accommodating. For example, I needed a small desk for my computer work, and they brought in a table and chair. The breakfasts were excellent. The location is a block and a half from the Xocolo, the central square.
Our room didn't have much outdoor light, and because of the location, the door to the street was always locked, so someone needed to unlock the door every time we departed.
