Great location / ski in
Very small rooms, hotel is obviously overcrowded. Always have to queue- starting from waiting for check in, always queue for shuttle bus or queue to get your omelette for breakfast. To get to SPA area you have to book time slot in advance, and after 1hr they’ll ask you to leave..
Ski shuttle jezdzi regularnie - to duze udogodnienie.
Dlatego szybko wyszedlem z basenu, bo nie chcialem sie przeziebic.
The good things: very comfy beds, most staff very helpful, nice spa (on the one occasion we were able to use it), good breakfasts, large comfy reception area.
The bad things: overheated and impossible to control the heat in bedrooms without opening window - lowest temp choice was 24 degrees. Very mean on the shuttle bus - ridiculous request for 10 Euros per person for lifts up and down very steep hill after 7pm. Also possible illegal, I understand, as you should have a licence to operate this service for payment in Italy. Spa booking was poor too - only one hour allowed and it was very hard to get a slot, so we were only able to use it once in four days. Check-in was slow, which was frustrating as we wanted to ski on our first afternoon. This was impossible in the end as the equipment hire shop was closed for two hours over lunchtime! Why?! Also the 'tapis roulant' lift which is supposed to take you up to the other lifts was broken most of the time we were there, so you have to either walk up the slope or wait a while for a shuttle bus. So it's not exactly 'ski out'. Bar was expensive too. Also beware that if you buy lift passes at the desk there is a surcharge. All in all rather disappointing for the price we paid.
The hotel room was clean and cozy. The view from the room was perfect- Matterhorn peak. The facilities of the hotel are great - there was a gaming room, big restaurant with good food, good SPA and cozy and warm fireplace. All of the evenings we were enjoying live shows on the fireplace and this was really fun and nice.
The hotel buildings are far from the main restaurants and the SPA centre. The halls to the rooms are a little bit cold and it’s not comfortable for walking. Also, at the SPA centre you had limited time for one hour a day and would be good to have more free time. Moreover, all of the time you need to book in advance a place for the restaurant for the next day. The organisation of the restaurant could be improved and more warm and cooked food could be done at the place - not only pasta and omelets for breakfast but also pancakes, for instance.
Niets
Dobra obsługa, dobry poziom restauracji, komfortowe pokoje.
Zaskakująca i uciążliwa konieczność rezerwacji saun.
Contemporary decor, spacious hotel, very helpful boot room staff
We visited 3 years ago and the food then was a much higher quality, so disappointed this time
Poor restocking of room eg water and vanity
The staff
Men with bathrobes and flipflops all around, in the bar, in the lobby, in open buffets, terrible sight. Never saw such a disturbing atmosphere in a ski resort. It was like a huge sauna
Your guide to the flawless travel experience
