RIVERDALE RESORT

A bit shabby. You can see that attempts have been made to renovate, but the windows were fogged up and we didn't dare turn off the air conditioning.

The beds and bedding were excellent. We slept well and liked the river view.

Booked a room for 5 via Expedia. Upon arrival, we only received a room for 4 and was charged extra for the 5th person, even though the quoted price was for 5. This place is poorly managed and there is miscommunication between it and Expedia. Suggest you avoid booking here.

My cabin was not clean. Bed sheets were not changed , full of hairs of previous guest! First night, it was not possible to close window and heating was not active. And pipe water smell very bad. But the location of property beside lake was great.

Very nice place!

We've stayed here for over the past 4 yrs. Property is very peaceful, staff is super helpful and friendly!!
Rooms are dated. We didn't have screens on the windows, the fridge froze most of our food
Will stay again next year and we stayed twice in 2025.
Overall great place to relax and chill. Atmosphere is wonderful!!

Beautiful place

I can give them 5 star, but the ceiling light is not working. So just 4 star. Another thing was great staffs are excellent.

Very nice stay in spacious, well maintained room with big double beds and even fireplace . Convenient Self check in and check out .

We were expecting the room to be a little more cozier. The lighting was not good and there was no bath plug to take a bath. It was pretty rustic and had a nice view, just not from the motel room. We at least got to enjoy the canoe for free but the motel is too close to the main road. It would have been nicer if it were deeper in the woods. Still had a great time and conveniently close to 2 provincial parks where we an fish and hike.

The bed sheet has dirty stain. I have to request the staff to change. The tap water smells bad.

Loved the access to the river!

Great restaurant, food was fantastic. Staff were very friendly and offered great suggestions for things to do. Shout out to Louise🤗. Room was spacious, clean and beds were comfortable. The window could use a cleaning to improve the beautiful view of the French River however this did not offend us. Nice dock for fishing and plenty kayaks/canoes. Public beach only 5 minutes away was great for swimming. We had a very nice time at this resort. Would visit again.

Everything was perfect! The room was ideal. The view was amazing. The food was good in the restaurant. The water in the room was stinky but that's well water during a drought I guess. Otherwise if I had more time the amenities were wonderful.

First I was nervous because we absolutely had to be on first floor. No problem they already had us accommodated. Perfect rooms restaurant on Durand I love to fish off dock. We definitely will book again. Room was above scale from what we spent the last 3 days. Ty

Plumber needs to be sent down to the lodges i was in 18 water smelled of heavy sulfur other than that good stay

This place basically served the purpose of somewhere to sleep for the night but there were minor issues. The wifi and the tv did not work. There was no hot water. A used face cloth was left in the bathtub from a previous guest. We found a set of headphones from a previous guest which alerted us to the lack of cleaning under the bed.
