Pleasant stay
Pros:

The breakfast was very good, with good choice available. The rooms were very comfortable and didn't hear traffic outside. All the staff were very pleasant. We would like to stay again if in the area

Cons:

The dinner on our first night wasn't the best. Main meal was over cooked and no sweet available. They were catering for a coach party so could appreciate they were busy. We ate out for meals the remaining nights - good choice of restaurants nearby

Immer wieder ein tolles Hotel für meinen Aufenthalt in Sunderland.
Alles modern und hell. Das Personal stets freundlich und hilfsbereit.
Das Frühstück ist für ein englisches Hotel wirklich umfangreich, frisch und lecker.
Ich komme immer gern wieder zurück.

Cons:

Hatte diesmal ein Zimmer mit Blick auf einen Innenhof. Der fehlende Ausblick wäre nicht das Problem gewesen, aber die Lüftungsanlagen an Nachbargebäude haben eher unterschwellig brummende aber dennoch belastende Geräusche gemacht und eine entspannte Nachtruhe unmöglich gemacht.
Am nächsten Morgen sehr unkompliziert und zuvorkommend in ein neues Zimmer umgechecked.

We had a wonderful stay at Holiday inn. It’s super clean and tidy and is a beautiful place to relax
