أعجبني موقع الفندق والطاقم كانوا لطفاء بالأخص الموظفط Duygu كانت متعاونة وتنفذ طلباتنا بسرعة

بوفيه الإفطار مكرر ولا يوجد تنوع بالإضافة انهم ذكروا في الموقع ان كنب الصالة يصبح اريكه ولكن للأسف كنب عادي والمشكله ليس لديهم أسرة إضافية ولو بمقابل

Pros:

Questa è la mia seconda volta in questo hotel. Poco da dire, è sempre una garanzia. Struttura pulita, posizione eccellente, staff gentilissimo.
Ci tornerò sicuramente.
Un grandissimo saluto ai ragazzi della reception.

Tranquilidad, y lo cerca que se encuentra de todo, el bufet bueno pero poca variedad.

Cons:

Todo correcto, lo único que si contratas el desayuno y por motivos tienes que salir antes de la hora de comienzo del desayuno , no te lo preparan para llevar como hacen en la mayoría de los sitios, lo demás Genial.

Contemporary, comfortable, clean, and safe hotel located on a quiet side street in the old part of the city and within walking distance of numerous attractions and decent restaurants. Attentive, friendly, and honest staff. A very good breakfast buffet was included with the only issue being exceptionally weak coffee (that was always running out), ironic for a country renowned for its strong brew.

Cons:

This was my second Booking.com week long family reservation where the room was not as promised. I was told by the hotel staff that the error was due to Booking.com misrepresenting the room and mine wasn’t their first complaint. I requested the room that I paid for and was advised it didn’t exist. Numerous attempts to chat with Booking.com promised they were looking into this yet there was no outcome. Someone would respond “we’ll get back to you” and then end the chat due to inactivity. I won’t be booking with Booking again.

🌟 Review for Shining Star Hotel, Istanbul 🌟
Pros:

I stayed here just when the snow decided to be merciful enough to fall — not much, but enough to make me feel blessed (and slightly frozen). ❄️

The hotel literally sits on top of history — there’s an ancient royal bath site right beneath it. Imagine waking up and realising you’re basically sleeping above where princesses used to chill centuries ago. Royal vibes unlocked 👑.

Service? 10/10. There’s even an Indonesian staff member, so you instantly feel at home — like finding sambal in a foreign land. 🇮🇩 The Turkish tea here deserves its own fan club; if you skip it at breakfast, that’s basically a sin. 🍵

✨ Tips for fellow travellers:

If you are indonesian and addict to spicy food, bring your own Boncabe. Turkish chilli might not enough to make you cry

Walking times from the hotel:
Hagia Sophia: around 5 minutes on foot.
Blue Mosque (Sultanahmet Camii): about 5 minutes too.
Topkapı Palace: roughly 8 minutes walking.
Grand Bazaar: also about 8 minutes on foot.

If you visit in January or February, prepare to be humbled by the cold. Stock up on drinking water in your room, because going out for it at midnight is a spiritual test. 🧊

In short, Shining Star really lives up to its name — not because it’s perfect, but because it shines even in Istanbul’s freezing weather.
