Amazing place to stay
Pros:

Restaurant was fantastic! Staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. Location is beautiful.

Cons:

Room doesn’t have AC. I showed up during a hot time of the year. I think this is a minor issue. The night cooled and I eventually slept like a baby but initially no issue felt like an issue

Pros:

Absolutely loved the scenery and restaurant on ground! The restaurant had amazing food and our server was respectful and attentive!

Cons:

It was unfortunate that they did not have an AC unit, however, they did have a standup fan already in the room as well as having a ceiling fan! The weather was very nice too so it wasn’t a problem for us!

Personal war super freundlich, und das Restaurant ist auch sehr zu empfehlen!

Cons:

Die Betten waren etwas zu weich für meinen Rücken, aber das ist subjektiv.

Pros:

we had a wonderful stay , the grounds are beautiful, dog friendly lots of room for them to play. the Staff is amazing. the price is beyond great. rooms are nice and cozy . bed was very comfortable. shower was amazing.

Great stay for visiting family in the area
Pros:

The grounds behind the lodge are beautiful. There is also a restaurant on property. The staff is welcoming and friendly. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well.

Cons:

I was in room one, which is right next to the kitchen. It can get a little loud in the morning.

Great place to stay when visiting the Donner Pass area
Pros:

Great location, on the way to Donner Pass on I80, yet extremely quiet, especially if you get one of the rooms facing away from the freeway. Breakfast at the attached restaurant was good. There is a large backyard with cabins that seems good for children to play.

Cons:

The room where I stayed was kind of small, so it is mostly good for people (like me) who stay out all day, and for seasons when you can do that. Maybe there are larger rooms (I did not check, since I arrived at 10PM and left at 8AM).

It was a great stay and I plan to stay again Labor Day weekend.
Pros:

The restaurant was fantastic! My family had multiple meals at the restaurant during our three day stay. The food arrived in a timely manner and tasted excellent. The staff was very professional and considerate.

Cons:

We didn't have enough towels when we arrived to the hotel for the family but the issue was quickly fixed.

Pros:

Convenient. In the woods. Rustic. Large area to explore. Pets welcome. Full size bathroom. Yummy towels. Good water pressure. Lots of hot water.

Cons:

Very tiny room. No refrigerator. Lumpy mattress. Did not realized that the property was a Christian based rehab facility.
Not a true problem, but weird vibe with fire & brimstone preacher professing in the dining room during breakfast.
