Pros:

The hotel was clean and friendly. Breakfast being included was excellent and great quality. Loved access to hot drinks and water in the reception area.

Cons:

With the room facing the square, it was sometimes a little noisy. Also some water came in through the window/balcony door after the heavy rain.

In sintesi: struttura discreta, ma esperienza compromessa da un episodio di maleducazione grave.
Pros:

Hotel complessivamente valido sotto alcuni aspetti.
Struttura carina, molto pulita e ordinata. Le camere sono gradevoli ma decisamente piccole, mentre il bagno è grande ma progettato male: tutto concentrato in un angolo, lasciando spazi vuoti poco funzionali.

La zona è centrale ma non particolarmente ben frequentata: non abbiamo mai avuto problemi, ma non trasmette grande tranquillità. Il fatto che l’ingresso dell’hotel resti chiuso H24 con necessità di suonare per entrare è indicativo.

Cons:

La vera nota negativa riguarda un episodio inaccettabile. Al nostro arrivo ci è stato imposto di scegliere un orario fisso per la colazione tra tre slot, con quello delle 9 già pieno e quindi non selezionabile. Una scelta assurda per un hotel: se pago la colazione, devo poter accedere liberamente quando è aperta la colazione, non essere vincolato a un orario rigido come in una mensa. In vacanza gli orari cambiano, ed è normale voler avere flessibilità.

Nel momento in cui ho fatto notare questa cosa in maniera civile e logica alla ragazza al desk, si è inserito un dipendente, Victor, con un atteggiamento estremamente arrogante, sorriso spocchioso e tono provocatorio. Risposta acida, nervoso, con modi tutt’altro che professionali. Dire che “l’hotel è pieno e quindi funziona così perché la sala è piccola” non è una giustificazione: eventuali limiti strutturali non devono ricadere sul cliente pagante. Facevate meno camere e più grandi o una sala per il numero di eventuali ospiti!

Ancora più grave: la mattina seguente questo stesso dipendente non ha nemmeno salutato, ignorandoci completamente e girandosi dall’altra parte. Un comportamento che va oltre il disservizio: è pura maleducazione.

Consiglio vivamente alla direzione di insegnare al suo dipendente l’educazione e i modi perché sono il minimo indispensabile in qualsiasi struttura ricettiva!
Peccato perché i colleghi sono stati tutti gentili, sorridenti e disponibili.

Excellent stay
Pros:

Very central and with good public transport access, walkable distance to several landmarks. Love the decor , room and bed super comfortable and was extremely clean. Lift to room available. Staff was very friendly and breakfast was exceptional. Would totally stay here again!

Cons:

There were some creaky floorboards and the bathroom door didn't close properly - but not a big deal. It's a quite busy area, so it can be quite noisy at times.
