Our room was clean, the staff was very accommodating to our needs ( traveling with elderly), everyone is super friendly.

Friendly hosts, amazing location for surfing, walkable to groceries, and eating.

Great stay here. All the staff and the owner himself are lovely. We absolutely loved the area and would definately return. The room was basic but had everything we needed. Nice comfy beds and decent pillows. WiFi was good, pool area was lovely and clean and had outdoor kitchen facilities next to it. Was fab. Thank you to all the staff for a lovely stay and we wish we’d stayed longer.

I recently stayed at Cabinas Del Mar and was a bit disappointed. While the location is decent, the overall experience didn’t meet expectations. The rooms felt outdated and not very clean, and the service was hit-or-miss. It has potential, but it definitely needs some improvements to be worth recommending.

Nice location near Playa Hermosa. Conveniently located to mini market and several restaurants. Good off street parking. There was a bit of noise from the main road. Pleasant pool area.

It was good for the price. Very close to the beach and next to a convenience store. Quiet and peaceful.
Did ask to have the sheets changed because there was a bit of sand on them and also smelled a bit humid. Shower wasn’t too clean.
However, location and price was hard to beat so I did have a lovely time.

The good: Great location, outdoor kitchen, nice chill vibe, good pools. The bad: you won't be sleeping much (even with earplugs) if your room is at the road side of the property.

PROs: pool, close to beach, walking distance to restaurants. Parking included. Hot water to shower. Walkable. Clean, room smelled of bleach when we arrived. Had a window, and a lamp as it was dark. Bed was okay. Refrigerator. Pizza Pata/smoothie place beside exceeded expectations. Markets nearby with lots of drink options.
CONs: lots of cookout-style family reunions in the common areas - outdoor kitchen and pool. Parking was limited and small space. Old, small room could use updating. Noisy with kids playing during the day/evening until about 830-9pm.

Quiet

Very relaxing, clean, good condition. Pleasant setting. Near the beach. Owners were very friendly. Good for family but also for couples. And a bit out of the way from the Jaco craziness but very close if you want to indulge. Also short walk from a bunch of restaurants.

Ocean across the street. Awesome!!! Good clean AC in room. Outdoor kitchen with everything needed for cooking. Pool open 24hr. Very comfortable and quiet. Simple room thats priced right! Very happy.

Owner and staff were friendly and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone needing a home away from home:)
