They never sent us check in information so we could not check in. Upon arrival, the exterior and interior lobby were filthy filled with over 500 cigarettes butts. Trash littered everywhere. I tried to contact them multiple times and never have received any answers. The phone number given was out of order. We will need a full refund. The place is not what was advertised.
This property owner is not trustworthy, he is not returning my security deposit. Be careful with this property management company
This property is scamming people. I was not able to get ahold of anyone about our stay. No email was sent out about how to get insisde the property. I have tried to reach out to hotels.com but i am getting the run around. Hotels is at gault for even allowing this property to be posted on their site for booking. This needs to be handled asap
The property charged security deposit which is roughly equivalent to your room rate and didn’t refund the deposit despite numerous attempts to contact them. No response from the property. Beware if you decide to book.

WARNING! PLEASE READ! I booked for the Warhola in Bloomfield on Friendship Ave, when I arrived to the building there was a sign posted stating this was peoples residence , I checked my messages on Expedia and I was given a completely different address to stay in, in Troy Hill, I had no choice but to go there, the place was fine, until, as I was laying on the couch I hear the PIN code beep and a woman and two men, complete strangers walked in on me, they stated they book this place through another site I was terrified as they had the building and apartment code, myself and the woman tried to contact the property manager with no luck (even now no response) Luxe PGH also sent me a portal link at the time of check in, to leave a card on file for “incidentals” and took almost the same amount I paid for the booking out of my account, this is on top of what I had already paid with Expedia, they claimed it was for “incidentals” but when I called my bank the money had been take out, NOT a hold. I had massaged and called the property management multiple times inquiring about changing the pin and for an explanation as to why I was at a completely different address. I eventually just left, I’ve sent several messages now about the amount taken and no response. Something is very wrong here. Please be careful.
DONT BOOK IT!!! I paid for this property and they left us stranded!! They never responded to any of my contacts from 5 days before my stay, numerous calls, messages on the Expedia site and text messages to the phone number listed and we never got the special instructions they claim they will email you to stay there. We went there the day of rental and nobody was there! They didnt even respond to expedias attempts to reach them on three occasions so I was NOT able to get a refund!! This was the worst experience ever, just terrible!!!
This property may be a scam. It is a building that is under construction and there is no way to enter the rooms.
This place is inhabitable. No beds, full of junks and bugs. No sheets, no clean towels. I had to get to different hotel. I want a refund
Don't do it! I didnt receive check in info 30 mins before check in, so i messaged and called. Phone rings through to a vm box that is full. Called customer service and was told the checkin info HAD been sent (it came through an hour AFTER check in while i was talking to customer service). Went ahead and made the 3 hr drive WITH MY KIDS only to find the door code I'd been sent was incorrect and still no answer at the number they gave. After another call to customer service, they confirmed what I knew, we were stranded without lodging...at 9:30 pm. DO NOT BOOK THIS STAY. It seems that all the recent reviews say the same thing.
The apartment is not in a livable condition. The unit is in a run down abandoned building. Don’t be fooled with the pictures advertised on the website.
This property is fraud . No key was sent . It made me to wait outside for 2 hrs . No entry key to the building . It’s a fraud ..posts 90 per night and charged as 180
This is the worst experience I've ever had. The property smells like cigarettes upon entry, and upon a quick inspection, the property is not even cleaned from the last the rental. The beds are not made, there cigarette ashes everywhere on the bed covers. Dishes are not clean in the dish washer. There is no toilet paper in the bathroom. Worst yet, no one picked up the phone when I tried to contact the property manager. We tried to make do with the situation, only to realize the bed has bugs. The only party responed to my call is the booking site at Expedia, and they tried to ocntact the property without any luck either. We left the property as it was disgusting. We are very unhappy and demands a full refund.
The code they sent was not correct. When we got in the beds were slept in, dirty towels were everywhere as well as garbage. When the cleaner finally came they threw away our stuff: phone charger, water bottle and drinks in the fridge. Luckily we had taken our valuables. The whole experience was unsettling. The other people staying at the property sat on the porch because their apt was so pitted they refused to go in.
Let’s start with the good. The apartment is in a good location , with free parking, and the price was good for a 3 bedroom place. The decor was really cute too and the bedding is new and clean.
Now for the bad. Apartment I kinda dingy overall. There was no shower curtain In the shower, and we found it in a closet with a broken tension rod. There was also only enough toilet paper for about one person to use the bathroom with no back up rolls. The tv also is mounted on the wall and the power cord is about 5 inches too short to reach the power outlet, so the tv is useless. On top of all that, after simply sitting on one of the beds , the entire support collapsed. After lifting the mattress we saw the wood and metal support beams weren’t secured in any way and were simply floating an a propped up piece of wood. All of this was communicated to property as it happened, with no response. We’ve been checked out for 2 hours now and still haven’t heard anything back from them .
This place is incredible!! Walking distance to awesome neighborhoods, immaculately clean, comfy furniture and all amenities top-notch!
I already want to plan more stays at this spot!!
The apartment we stayed in was very nice for the price we paid. We did have minor issues when arriving to the house but the property managers were very quick to respond and solve them for us. The included parking and bus stop right in front of the house that takes you downtown was amazing. Overall a wonderful stay!
This place exceeded my expectations! It was clean, welcoming, and felt like home right away. So much room, natural lighting, beautiful views. Lots of outlets to plug things in, which was great. Comfortable couch and nice tv in the living room. Shower head was perfect. Heat/cooling system worked AMAZING. Great communication with property management. Already looking to book my next trip back to Pittsburgh, and I am definitely staying here again!
Absolutely the worst most unprofessional stay I’ve experienced! First they sent me the incorrect door code which made me sit outside for 30 minutes. Once I got in I noticed the bathroom door SHUT without a DOORKNOB I contacted the property manager she proceeded to tell me to use a hanger rod to break in the bathroom smh! Shower curtain had MOLD all on the bottom and nothing but FILTH, the apartment had animal hair everywhere, wasn’t clean they left food in the fridge there were grapes on the floor! No curtains in the master the smoke detectors were off the wall with batteries out! Urine stains on the bed, I have several of photos. I reached out to Sophia (property manager) she’s been ignoring me as of now STILL disgusting dirty and unsanitary place to be and a rip off
We arrived at this location for a weekend stay for a wedding we were in. The flights of stairs were awful to get up & down. ( nothing stated on the property that there we’re stairs.) Once we arrived the smell of weed was so unbearable, my seven year old was choking. There was pee and toilet paper in the toilet. There was a red stain (huge) on the rug in the living room, the pillows were yellow, & the fridge was dirty. The smell of the weed was so bad ourselves and all our items smelt like it. I had went to the store to buy febreeze and Lysol. Plus some candles, but my husband and I decided we couldn’t allow our child to stay in these conditions. We contacted Sophia and she ensured us we would be refunded if we wanted to leave. We ended up packing up and leaving having to spend more money to get a hotel. After she said we would be refunded she stopped answering our calls & texts. She will also not answer Expedia. To say this has been the worst experience ever renting anywhere. It is truly a nightmare & we plan to get a lawyer to get our money back. DO NOT RENT OFF THIS PERSON! She’s awful at responding and scammed us out of money with her dirty apartment.
