Would definitely stay again but wouldn’t pay for a balcony room again :)
Pros:

Staff were lovely and so helpful, a great location and everything you could possibly need in the room!

Cons:

The microwave/oven wasn’t cleaned properly so when we went to use the grill it was smoking and we were scared it was going to set the fire alarms off so thought it was best just to leave it. We also paid for a balcony room and were a bit disappointed, the views were absolutely amazing but the “balcony” was tiny and wasn’t even chairs out to sit on despite it being summer.

Nice room
Pros:

Good location, clean, included kitchenette, modern building.

Cons:

It had a balcony but you basically couldn’t use it except to stand. They completely restrict smoking/vaping on balcony or bringing a chair out so you could actually sit and enjoy the view… I paid for a balcony and then couldn’t enjoy it.

Lovely view and great location
Pros:

Great location and view over the city. Room was very comfortable and was spotess. Small kitchenette was perfectly adequate for two.

Cons:

There was a disco at the front when we arrived but it did stop at 9pm so all was quiet from then on.

One of my best holidays and we wish to return in the future
Pros:

The style and layout of the room(especially the terrace, as it felt really homely and warm.

Cons:

Because we had our toy poodle with us(he’s 3kg and he’s tiny like a puppy size) it was really unsafe for us to leave the terrace doors open as he could easily fall down if he passed through terrace horizontal railings.
Breakfast was nice but there wasn’t enough diverse choices like different juices , or different types of baked goods.

Pros:

The hotel location is conveniently close to the Waverley train station and St. James Quarter shopping mall. To access the hotel, just walk pass the mall and find the hotel door (beside a traffic light), where there is lift to the lobby.
We stayed at the Family Grande Studio, with a nice view of the Calton Hill. The room is clean, comfortable, very spacious, and well equipped.
The staff were friendly and helpful. When we left the hotel at 4:00 a.m, The reception staff were available to assist with check-out and arrange a taxi, which gave us great peace of mind.
Free croissants in the morning and all day coffee/tea at the lobby is a nice touch.

Cons:

The default housekeeping schedule for stays of 4 nights or more felt a bit limited considering the room rate. However, daily housekeeping is available free of charge with request sign on the door, and our room was cleaned as requested.

Sicuramente se io e il mio ragazzo decidessimo di tornare ad Edimburgo prenoterei ancora in questa struttura.
Pros:

Posizione perfetta, comunicante con il centro commerciale, ma la sera rimane comunque super tranquillo. La struttura è moderna e pulita, beni di prima necessità acquistabili alla reception e punto per me fondamentale non aveva la moquette nelle camere!
