1. Great Breakfast: Breakfast was delivered to the room at about 8:30 AM, featuring coffee, juice, eggs, sausage, and toast— it was nice to have breakfast without leading the room.
2. Responsive Staff: The staff quickly addressed concerns and were genuinely apologetic for any issues and shortcomings of the building and management.
3. Helpful Team: Staff were accommodating, assisting with transportation - this made leaving this place fast and I was happy to get away.
1. Unpleasant Room Smell: The room smells extremely bad, like an uncleaned and inappropriate environment. It’s unacceptable and makes me worry about hygiene.
2. Unfulfilled Promise to Move: The host assured us we would be moved to another room, but that never happened.
3. No WiFi: There is no WiFi available, which is critical as I need it for a work project. Relying on mobile data was not what I expected when booking.
4. Non-Functional Phone: The phone in the room doesn’t work. It seems to be just a decorative piece, which defeats its purpose.
5. Difficult to Find: The property lacks signage, making it hard to locate from the street.
6. Slow Gate Service: The guard at the gate is slow to respond, causing unnecessary delays.
7. Unorganized Reception: The daytime receptionist had no access to reservation information and didn’t even have a computer to check. It’s unclear how charges are managed in such a disorganized setup.
8. Questionable Security Practices: The night desk staff gave out a room key without verifying my identity. This is a major safety concern since anyone could potentially access rooms without proper authorization.
Hellenis Guest House is well managed. The staff is courteous and helpful. I would return again. Good value.

There was nothing to like,employees were deliberately determined for us not to stay there,the gate man said there were no ROOMS, the receptionist kept insisting we pay kes 5,000 even though booking.com had us book at 4200.
