Excellent stay at Avadale Thekkady, very spacious, neat and clean room provided with fresh linens and a hygienic wash room, very courteous staff and Mr. Fayaz was very helpful and auppoertive throughout our stay, value for money.

I would like to thank the staff at Avadale. They were so friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble for them :)
Pros:

It was on the edge of the town, right next to the forest - so I got to see giant Malabar squirrels, grey hornbills and two species of monkeys just around the accommodation. It was easy to book Autos and taxis from Avadale into the town, at very reasonable rates. It was also easy to walk into town, less that 15 minutes walk.
