I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel.
Pros:

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this hotel. The location is severely impacted by excessive noise, with extremely loud music from the nearby Hard Rock Café continuing late into the night and making it impossible to enjoy a peaceful stay.

What is particularly unacceptable is that I raised this exact issue with hotel staff during a previous stay two years ago. Despite bringing the matter to the hotel's attention at that time, it appears that no meaningful action has been taken, as the problem persists unchanged. During my recent stay, I was again forced to complain about the disturbance and was deeply shocked to discover that guests are still being subjected to the same unacceptable conditions years later.

The apparent lack of concern for guest comfort and wellbeing is highly concerning. A hotel that consistently exposes its guests to such significant noise disruption, while failing to address longstanding complaints, falls far short of the standards one would reasonably expect. Frankly, it is astonishing that this property continues to market itself as a five-star hotel when such a fundamental issue remains unresolved.

I would appreciate a formal response explaining what steps, if any, are being taken to address this ongoing problem and prevent other guests from having a similarly disappointing experience.

Petit hôtel très pratique pour moi. La piscine et la terrasse extérieure sont un vrai plus !
Pros:

L'hôtel est en retrait de la route (derrière de hard rock café), donc plus calme.
La possibilité de passer du temps dehors, au bord de la piscine, et en retrait de la route. Pas l'impression d'être au centre ville.
Le buffet du petit-déjeuner est très varié et permet tous les goûts entre indien et occidental.
Le service de voiturier gratuit qui a permis à mes amis indiens de venir me voir plusieurs fois à l'hôtel en voiture.
Les parties communes (couloirs et ascenseurs) ne sont pas trop réfrigérés. C'est agréable pour moi (je n'aime pas trop l'air conditionné même si c'est indispensable à Chennai au mois de mai qui est le mois le plus chaud).

Cons:

L'immeuble voisin était en réfection complète ou en construction. Donc un peu de bruit le matin. Mais cela est forcément temporaire.
L'air conditionné dans ma chambre était difficile à réguler (trop froid pour moi, impossible de faire monter au-dessus de 22°). J'ai fait venir les techniciens. Ca c'est un peu amélioré.
