Great location, next to the metro and the ferries. Big and clean room, well equipped with Nespresso coffee machine and welcome water.. Sea view. Helpful staff. Great neighborhood.

Pros:

The Dekalb Hotel is a great property in a superb location. I would recommend the Kadikoy neighborhood to anyone visiting Istanbul who isn’t afraid of using public transit. You are a short ferry ride or metro ride away from all the historical sites in Sultanahmet and it’s totally worth it to have an authentic and more affordable experience. The hotel was extremely clean, comfortable, and beautifully decorated; however, what really stands out a part from the location is the warm and welcoming staff. Mohammet, Enes, and Kereem went above and beyond to help me navigate public transit- even walking me to the bus stop so I didn’t get lost. Most importantly, I enjoyed many lively conversations with them, making my stay extra memorable. As a solo female traveler, I was especially grateful for their warm and friendly disposition and looked forward to seeing them in the mornings and evenings in between sight seeing.

This hotel is excellent bang for your buck with wonderful staff in a perfect location right across the street from the ferry and metro stop. You can’t ask for anything better!

Cons:

Very minor but just fyi, you can hear live music playing somewhat loudly from your room as you’re close to some bars. I easily fell asleep but you may want to bring ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper.

Pros:

Das Hotel liegt nur wenige Meter von der Metrostation entfernt und ist dadurch perfekt zentral gelegen. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das unglaublich freundliche und hilfsbereite Personal – man fühlt sich hier wirklich willkommen!

Ein ganz besonderer Dank geht an Oğuz Bey, Emre, Baris, Nagehan, Kerem, Enes und Mustafa für ihren großartigen Service und ihre Herzlichkeit.

Ich habe meinen Aufenthalt sehr genossen, komme definitiv wieder und kann das Hotel absolut weiterempfehlen!

Pros:

Die Zimmer waren einfach super und hatten eine mega Aussicht. Man hat sich sofort wohlgefühlt.
Das Personal war sehr aufmerksam und immer freundlich, was den Aufenthalt noch angenehmer gemacht hat.
Besonders hervorheben möchte ich Kerem – er war unglaublich lieb und hilfsbereit. Vielen Dank für den tollen Service!

Ein ganz besonderer Dank an Nagihan und die küchenchefin Zeliha, beim Frühstück blieb kein Wunsch offen. Außerdem auch ein großer Dank an Mustafa & Enes Sie haben uns sehr geholfen.

Es ist an sich keine schlechte idee, aber durch das grüne Licht über dem Bett mit Bewegungssensor haben wir uns beim einschlafen schwer getan
