Lost interest in this chain and booking too
Pros:

On arrival the clerk (Andy sheikh) was extra rude and refused to accept partial payment

When I asked for a manager he replied I am the manager and my colleague (lady) is the deputy CEO

Knowing it’s falls I had to pay the total amount to avoid a quarrel

Sehenswertes Hotel mit tollem Personal
Pros:

Das Hotel hat eine schöne ruhige Lage. Die Empfangshalle und die Zimmer sind äußerst beeindruckend. Das Personal ist sehr freundlich und bemüht alle Gästewünsche zu erfüllen. Wir erhielten einen früheren Check-In. Die Lage des Zimmers hat genau unseren Wünschen entsprochen. Die Vendome Mall ist fußläufig erreichbar, ein Besuch dieser ist empfehlenswert.

Cons:

Für uns war der Pool etwas zu kühl.

The best!
Pros:

De kamer was ultraluxe het was prachtig en super schoon. De schoonmaakster was ook extreem aardig. Er was helemaal geen tekortkoming in het hotel op een klein opmerking na.

Cons:

Na normaliter zijn wij gewend dat wij bij vijf sterren+ (i.c een 7 sterren hotel) hotels en resorts een welkomstdrankje wordt aangeboden voornamelijk als je ziet dat een vrouw zwanger is en kinderen bij zijn na een lange reis, maar dit was in onze situatie helaas niet gebeurd, omdat er sprake is van ramadan maar aangezien er toeristen in het hotel komen lijkt het mij wel Normaal om in ieder geval te vragen of dat diegene vast of niet en op basis daarvan alsnog een drankje aan te bieden.

Architectural Masterpiece with Service and Atmosphere Falling Short of Ultra-Luxury Expectations

Our stay at Raffles Doha left us with very mixed feelings.

First of all, the building itself is undeniably impressive. The architecture is stunning, the rooms are beautifully designed, and the overall aesthetic is truly remarkable. The breakfast was phenomenal — easily one of the highlights of our stay, with excellent quality and variety.

Cons:

However, despite the ultra-luxury positioning of the hotel, the overall experience did not meet our expectations.

One of the main issues was the atmosphere. There were simply too many people visiting primarily for Instagram content. The constant “Instagram runway” feeling throughout the property made it difficult to relax, and at times we genuinely felt uncomfortable and disturbed. Instead of a calm luxury environment, it often felt like a social media stage.

Unfortunately, the service did not reflect the standard one would expect from an ultra-luxury hotel. The staff seemed insufficiently trained for this level of hospitality. At times, some team members appeared frustrated rather than welcoming. We were also disappointed to find that our baby’s crib was dirty upon arrival — something that should absolutely not happen in a hotel of this category.

Basic expectations were not consistently met. For example, the minibar/fridge was not refilled daily, and we repeatedly had to ask for simple things that should be standard in a hotel of this level. Constantly having to request basic amenities diminished the feeling of effortless luxury.

Another major disappointment was the pool situation. The pools were not heated, which meant we could not use them at all — despite visiting Doha specifically to enjoy the beautiful weather. This was extremely frustrating and significantly impacted our stay.

In summary, while the architecture, rooms, and breakfast were truly impressive, the overall service quality and atmosphere did not align with the ultra-luxury promise. With better staff training, more attention to detail, and a calmer environment, the experience could match the stunning setting. Unfortunately, during our stay, it fell short of expectations.
