4 nights at Double Tree Hilton Varanasi
Pros:

The front office staff was helpful. It seems we were upgraded to a better room given our length of stay and no of rooms.

Cons:

Location : 30-40 mins to any of the known ghats. For similar pricing, you are better off at Cantonment Road hotels.
Room : Bathroom was dated, linen can ne of better quality. Found spider too and shared the pic with the hotel staff.
Hilton Honors: was informed that I would not get the points as i had booked using another platform. I am at a loss at this policy as I have not come across other chains / airlines / hospitality sector do this.

Nice clean hotel, service can be better
Pros:

We were offered room choices which was nice. We chose two interconnected rooms as we were traveling with kids. The rooms were nice and clean. Check-in was smooth. Staff were courteous.

Cons:

The food options were limited, apparently due to shortage of LPG. This is not expected from an international hotel brand. We stayed in another five star hotel in the next leg of our trip where they had everything available on the menu. The service was also not up to expectations as we had to request for fresh bath towels and supplies multiple times—something they should have taken care of without asking. The location was also not ideal, far away from the main tourist attractions

This is the most Horrible Double Tree I have stayed ever. I will never go back.
Anyone booking think 2 times.
Double Tree management your Franchise Partner is clearly diluting your brand

Over all experience from staff to food quality to Room Service . Everytime is super bad.
