Cons:

Main Gate (some digging work was in progress) and travel desk. More than half of the guests come for religious purposes. They should come forward to help the guests in this direction.

Excellent
Pros:

The property is clean, well maintained and well located for getting round Varanasi. The staff especially Ms A Sarkar in guest services was exceptional and made sure our family had everything we needed for a pleasant stay.

Cons:

Breakfast can be a bit chaotic when it’s busy so advise going earlier rather than later.

Told to plug kettle in on floor as power didn’t work on bench
Television didn’t work
Got room changed and then total blackout of lights in morning while showering
Would not recommend and would definitely not go back ever again

Pros:

The hotel was in a nice location, not too far from the city center. Even though, it was located in a busy street the room was very quiet. The personnel was polite and the room was clean.

Cons:

We were 3 staying in the room. In India the only offer double rooms and they just add an extra bed. We had asked for the bed to be placed in the room while we were out, but when we returned the bed was just in the room, folded without any beddings set. We called to ask for someone to come and prepare the bed for us, as we didn't want to unfold it ourselves and damage it. A guy come and unfolded it and just placed a folded sheet on top without preparing the duvet or anything else. We were expecting a bit more help and proactiveness on that regard when staying in a 5 star hotel.

Functional and clean.
Pros:

Location and facilities were good. Clean rooms.

Cons:

Staff were ok, not very polite but definitely not rude. No wishing or asking if we needed help. They just did what was asked. A smile or greeting would be nice.

I paid lot of money , I would like to pay more and stay for a well maintained hotel if this is what you can do .this is

Inside the room , well maintained

Cons:

Outside the room carpet is dirty , dining hall is where the chef kitchen seems dirty windows and doors .
Smoking smell in the floor
Room change request has to be made multiple times .

Perfect stay
Pros:

If you want a clean, comfortable and modern room stay here! Reviewers are harder on Hilton because of its name but I find it unhelpful when you see a 9-star review for a very basic, dated hotel but reviewed highly because it’s independent, versus this hotel which is objectively much better! Also the tours offered here were 2-3x less than the ones offered in the old city.

Cons:

It’s a bit out of the way but Uber is very affordable.
