Sandcastle Cove Resort

The lay out wasn't bad at all. I love the ponds with the ducks and the views! Beautiful views! Some of the staff was real good. The maintenance man and the black chicken behind the desk. The new boss was nice. The two heavy set white lady were rude and not friendly at all. The dishes were not the best. The tub jets didn't work. The maintenance man did fix the dishwasher. The soap that they use for dish washer leaves a film and there no jet dry so dishes were spotty and with film. Beds are hard. Pots and pans were rusty and peeling. But over all I found out that the last manger did the company wrong so it takes time to get things back in order. The ladies behind the desk needs to talk to people with respect and not to finger point things that wasn't true. I don't like to be lied on. Saying I do drugs ect... I don't drink or do drugs at all. I told them I was willing to take a piss test anytime. I had my austic grandson with me and my son. They don't do drugs either. If you want people to come back talk to them with respect and you should get respect back. I never had any issues with all the places I travel in my life until I stayed in New Bern NC. Something about the town itself. Next time I will try a different town. I might come back but doubt it.

Property was dated but served our purpose. Only minor issue was TV and internet were in service. Overall good stay.

Check in was smooth and the front desk clerk was friendly and informative. The condo was clean and comfortable. The amenities were nice. We enjoyed the indoor pool, hot tub, outdoor pool, mini golf, and lake fishing. The only negative we found was that the in condo jacuzzi tub did not work, which was disappointing to my kiddos and there were no pots or pans in the unit, just random pieces of cooking equipment. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and will be back.

We liked the surrounding and all the things that were available to do.

The accommodation was very spacious and we very much liked the set up of the house.

Unit 5031 was very clean. Two and a half baths. It has its own hot tub room and two out door deck/fresh air spaces we thoroughly utilized and loved.I felt that the place was a good value for our money and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay, over all, I only wish we would have had an opportunity to check out more of the amenities.

This place was a DUMP. It was dirty,it stunk. Sinks were clogged or had no stopper. Air conditioner did not work well. The card key lock was ment for inside not outside. It failed and we had to wait for maintenance to let us in. I could go on and on about how bad this place was.Over all this place was GETTO!!!!! If Expedia uses this type of place, we probably won't book with them. Complete wast of money.

This is my go to place when coming to the New Bern area. It's always an amazing stay. It's a great property that offers a lot.

The unit was as described. It is a slightly older unit, which is fine.
We could have used instructions on how to use the washing machine in the welcome packet.
The wifi and cell phone reception were bad. A booster need to be added.
The office staff were very helpful and tried to help with the wifi and cell issues.

It was nice and clean as well as spacious. The area was quiet and the landscape was beautiful. I enjoyed everything about it.

Location, price and convenience.

Relaxing atmosphere with a lot of amenities. Great for family trips

Quiet community. A lot of space in Condo. Love screened in room. Full kitchen with all necessary utensils. Has a washer and dryer. Access to recreation area. Bikes available. Lake view. Separate Jacuzzi room. Loft area also.

The condo was super nice, it accommodated our every need. Definitely on our radar to return!!!

Beautiful area, comfort home. Check in was a bit complicated because they close at 17:00. We had to call a number and ask for instructions.
Pool was good, comfortable beds, a little far from downtown, but good for quietness and rest.
