A gem in George!
Pros:

The staff are fantastic, the hotel is being upgraded but is well maintained and looks great. Outstanding restaurant and great service staff. Super helpful.

We will definitely visit The Hawthorn Boutique hotel on our next visit to George. They deserve all their stars and more!
Pros:

Everything was perfect. From the time we arrived, we were greeted by a gentlemen at the car to assist us with our luggage, very thoughtful. Then the lady that welcomed us at reception is a true gem. Welcomed us to the hotel and seamlessly helped us through our check in. Apologies for not getting any names. All staff are so well mannered and helpful. The breakfast was good, we had a variety to choose from. We also had an opportunity to visit the restaurant onsite for their date night special on Friday, exceptional value for money for the 3 course meal offered, compliments to the chef and thank you to the ladies at the restaurant. Our room was perfect, serviced everyday and the turn down service in the evening is such a personal touch. I would definitely recommend this place should you visit George.

Absolutely nothing. There is nothing to fault during our stay at the hotel.

I love staying here, the hotel is stunning, friendly staff, food is lovely
Pros:

Clean, and it gets cleaned twice a day.the rooms were spacious and designed stunning.breakfast was great.
Staff were helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Breakfast did not have fish selections. They don’t have a play area for kids.
