Everything was great especially the breakfast and large comfy beds

The hotel & room were very clean. The breakfast was wonderful. Eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, cinnamon rolls, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, and more. The lady who made it was very kind. They have coffee and hot tea available 24/7. Also fruit water. The indoor pool was clean. Every person who worked there was gracious. It was as if they owned the hotel and wanted us to feel welcome in it. They had a large screen TV in the room that got cartoon channels, which my son liked. There was a variety of programming. They had Dove lotion, liquid soap, body wash, shampoo & conditioner in the bathroom. The room was a good size and modern.

I recently spent a week at Holiday Inn Express Hattiesburg-West in a king standard room while attending a conference at the University of Southern Mississippi. The stay was comfortable, convenient, and exceeded my expectations. The hotel offers clean, modern rooms with essential amenities, including complimentary Wi-Fi, a flat-screen TV with ample channels, an ironing board and iron, a microwave, and a refrigerator. I found the spacious desk and ample storage especially useful. I was especially grateful for the commercial washer and dryer in the laundry room—after an unfortunate coffee spill on my shirt one morning, having on-site laundry made it easy to get back on track without missing a beat. The lobby’s commercial-grade coffee maker is available 24/7 for Keurig-style coffee or tea. The staff was consistently friendly and attentive, greeting guests warmly and ensuring a pleasant experience. The complimentary breakfast offered a wide variety of hot and cold options, including scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, omelets, oatmeal, cinnamon rolls, yogurt, fresh fruit, and assorted breads (croissants, biscuits, sliced bread) and pastries. Toppings like peanut butter and Nutella, as well as prepackaged muffins, provided convenient choices for busy mornings. After conference sessions, I appreciated the well-maintained fitness center and pool. The gym is well equipped with a stationary bike, treadmills, an elliptical, resistance bands, free weights, TVs, a water cooler, and towels. An ice dispenser and water station are also located near the laundry room.
Conveniently located off I-59, the hotel offers easy access to the University of Southern Mississippi, a 5-minute drive away. Free on-site parking is abundant, and an electric vehicle charging station is available. Ride-share services such as Uber and Lyft are plentiful in the area. The quiet surroundings and central location make it easy to explore Hattiesburg’s main attractions.
Overall, Holiday Inn Express Hattiesburg-West provides reliable comfort, excellent service, and strong value for travelers seeking a hassle-free stay. The hotel includes accessibility features such as wheelchair-accessible entrances, ramps, accessible parking, and elevators to all guest floors.
