Excellent
Pros:

We stayed in the executive suite. The room was very spacious, comfortable beds and we particularly enjoyed the hot tub and hamam. It was an excellent way to end the trip in Sicily. Very friendly staff. The fruit and sweets were an attentive gesture.

Cons:

We liked everything but just small suggestion to provide wine glasses in the room.

Pros:

We were lucky and got a free upgrade to an executive suite. The room was very large, came with a jacuzzi tub and also steam shower. We enjoyed our stay here, everyone was very nice. The hotel is very well located, right next to the main pedestrian street with shops and plenty of restaurants.

Cons:

Nothing cones to mind.

Excellent location close to everything
Pros:

Excellent location, just outside the busiest area and everything to explore in walking distance. Very friendly and helpful staff. As the hotel was not too busy we got a nice room upgrade ... thank you so much!

Overall nice, but expected more for the money.
Pros:

Clean and nice room. Nice steam shower and that we could cast to the TV.
Really appreciated that we got early access to our room.

Cons:

Felt a little like beeing at a small spa with different rooms.
No elevator, small reception area, small area for breakfast and no sun in the courtyard. The room was not very soundproof, as you could hear from the "dining area" and those who walked by outside. For this price of accommodation we probably expected more from the whole experience. The price for breakfast was 25€ in addition to the room per person, which also felt very expensive. We chose to rather then go out and find a café nearby with a nice environment.

Séjour très agréable dans un beau lieu idéalement situé.
Pros:

L'emplacement est idéal, dans le quartier historique de Catane.
Hôtel sécurisé, personnel à nos soins, très agréable et serviable.
Les chambres sont spacieuses et ont beaucoup de charmes avec les pierres apparentes.

Cons:

La chambre donnait côté rue et cela a pu être bruyant certaines nuits.

Pros:

De wijze waarop in het historische gebouw hotel en horeca is ingepast. Was een fantastische binnenhuisarchitect. Even opvallend was de vriendelijkheid van het management. Zeer aanbevelingswaardig!

Cons:

De tafelpoten in het ontbijtgedeelte maakten lawaai. Een opmerking van onze kant leidde er onmiddellijk toe dat de dag erop onder de pootjes glijders waren aangebracht waardoor je niets meer hoorde. Chapeau!

If you are looking for a 5 star hotel….Keep looking.
Cons:

Big mistake… Not a 5 Star Hotel.

Purchased 8 nights, left after 2 nights. We were charged for the additional 6 nights (understandable) but the facility was bad enough that we forfeited over 3,000 Euro in prepayment in order to leave.

Room #6: The fruit that was waiting for us in our room was rotten and bruised, the placemats at the breakfast were soiled, the “terrace” was actually an elevated, encased glass room within our room with a fogged exterior window and a small vent at the top. The only thing the “terrace” offered was very loud street noise (cars, trains, and sidewalk foot traffic) through the vent at the top.

There is no concierge, and the front desk is only attended at check in and check out (the hotel claims to have attendant at the desk during daytime hours but we never saw it attended other than our scheduled check in and scheduled check out). We were shown to our room at check in, but there was no information provided for the multiple function spa tub or multiple function spa shower. The hotel patio was never mentioned - We only came upon the patio by accident when searching the hotel for someone to help us.

The room is beautiful, but does not have adequate space for clothing and belongings (we traveled with 2 carry on bags and 2 small backpacks).

This is the first time I’ve given a 5 Star hotel a poor review.
