Excellent hotel for a pleasant and convenient stay in Shillong
Pros:

Very sweet staff, clean and comfy hotel. The location is close to the heart of the city with many good spots close by. But it can also be crowded/high traffic, although the rooms are very quiet.

Cons:

Nothing worth mentioning :)

Excellent Location
Pros:

Excellent Location. Right at Police Bazar. One can walk to the shopping and eating places and also to Wards Lake. Excellent breakfast. The rooms are nice

Cons:

The lobby is small aa compared to what one would expect of a 5 star hotel. The entry is also a bit cramped. But that's a compromise om account of the location

Except the staff at the restaurant, I felt very cheated at the level of service at this hotel.
Pros:

The property ran out of power several times, we were given an extra bed with a metal coming out and sheets that were crumpled and smelt bad. During our stay the flush on one of the toilets also stopped working.

Cons:

The check in was very unfriendly. My elderly parents were at risk as they were in the bathroom when the power went out and there was no back up during the power outage for 5-10 mins. I paid a premium so that we could have a safe and comfortable stay but the service level was worse than a two-star

Overall experience was good.
Pros:

The breakfast menu was excellent with many options, and so was the food's taste. The property was neat and clean and well maintained. Staff behavior was polite and really helpful.

Cons:

Room size was small. As I was travelling with family, it was not fit for a couple with kids.
