It was terrible for us…first of all it was a self check in which had no English option in using the kiosk. Through translation of a phone app, the kiosk was asking for our Nationality, adress and identity document but did not give us an option to choose Canada. So we tried to phone the helpline and our phone call could not be connected. So with nobody there to help us we were forced to abandon our desire to stay and also forfeited our money that was prepaid. And had to rebook accommodation elsewhere…I would not stay at this hotel again.

Den utlovade parkeringen fanns inte, hotellet står på en byggarbetsplats. Men rummet var fint och frukosten god.

Rooms are clean and the lady serving the breakfast is nice

Virtual Check in is weird. Would prefer a person to check in and check out. Also no one to talk to in person for any requests for towels and soap, etc. The really cool shower in our room didn’t work. Only the hand sprayer. Of course no one really to talk to about it. Seems kind of unsafe with no one there. What happens if there is a fire? Great location to be in. Especially on Switzerlands National Holiday. Great view point for all the fireworks!

Das Zimmer war sauber, sehr heiss, die Klimaanlage zu schwach. Immerhin war die Bettwäsche angenehm, das Kissen allerdings sehr klein.Beim ersten Mal funktionierte das Aktivieren des Zimmerschlüssels nicht, und wir waren ziemlich ratlos. Den Service können wir nicht beurteilen, wir haben niemanden gesehen. Die Fenster hielten dicht in der lauten Umgebung.

L’hôtel est très confortable et extrêmement pratique, notamment grâce au système d’enregistrement et de départ en libre-service, qui fonctionne parfaitement. Les chambres se trouvent entre le 10ᵉ et le 12ᵉ étage, offrant une vue magnifique sur toute la vallée de la petite ville de Menziken.

Le 13ᵉ étage est dédié à la salle de petit-déjeuner, où le personnel est très chaleureux et accueillant. Comme il n’y avait pas de réfrigérateur dans la chambre, j’ai demandé s’il était possible de conserver un sac de glace pour des médicaments, et une employée très aimable m’a proposé de le mettre dans leur réfrigérateur réservé — ce qui m’a vraiment sauvé !

Au 14ᵉ étage se trouve le bar, avec une vue également très agréable. Le village de Menziken est calme et reposant, un vrai bol d’air frais pour l’esprit.

Le seul petit inconvénient : j’ai l’habitude de dormir avec deux oreillers, mais je n’en ai pas trouvé de supplémentaire dans la chambre.

Although location, price and cleanliness was great. We experienced an issue with the AC in our room (non stop water dropping sound), we reported the issue by calling the number provided and also hotel.com app but nothing happened. Issue was not solved and they did not change us to a different room (they never call is us back to confirm if availability was there).

Parking was convenient. A little difficult to find, especially with construction around.

great staff to help you program the room key as there is no-one on site. But it took a while until you could enter the room ...

Hallo alles hat super gepasst aber…wir sind um 9.15 Uhr zum Frühstück gegangen, es hatte nur Brot und geschmolzener Käse. Nichts anderes. Als ich nach Gipfeli oder Brötli fragte, kam die Antwort : Es hat keines mehr!! Obwohl das Frühstück bis 10.30 Uhr war. Das war sehr schlecht. Mieses Buffett

Best & comfortable

Check in was very smooth with the computer in the lobby. Breakfast was great. And yes, the bathroom doors are frosted in the middle, clear otherwise, with no lock, and aren't suitable for families. One of the two air conditioner units worked. The communication by messaging with the hotel was slow, and didn't get resolved before our 2 night stay was completed. Overall, it was a pleasant stay with a couple of issues that weren't deal breakers.
