The entire facility is excellent from top to bottom.
We booked a suite, with corner view into the central courtyard. It is magnificent .

The staff are helpful, the service is excellent and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Just back from dinner in one of the gazebos in the courtyard, serenaded by the birds and the colorful dancing fountains.

A terrific place to relax after a big day of sightseeing and walking around the many historical sites.

Suite was very spacious and the large balcony was nice for warm evenings. This is a dry hotel which wasn’t an issue, good recommendations for eating out locally where you could have wine. Lovely outdoor pool and gardens. Breakfast room was large but could be overrun by tour parties, they tended to leave by 9am when it became much quieter.

Parkside in Samarkand is a true gem. Impeccably clean rooms, elegant design, and an exceptional level of service. The staff is incredibly attentive, polite, and truly goes above and beyond to anticipate guests’ needs. I initially booked for 2 nights but enjoyed it so much that I extended my stay for a third night. Even though I paid for a standard room, they kindly upgraded me to a superior room — such a thoughtful gesture! I was genuinely impressed and will definitely come back. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Samarkand!

Zarafshon Parkside was a fantastic place to stay in Samarkand. The rooms were very comfortable, offering everything needed for a relaxing visit. Breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of fresh and tasty options to start the day right. The overall atmosphere of the hotel is elegant and welcoming—perfect for a pleasant and memorable stay.

Staying at Zarafshon Parkside was a delightful experience. The location couldn’t have been better—close to Central Park and Registan Square. The hotel, a beautifully renovated heritage property since 2022, felt both historic and modern. Our room was incredibly comfortable, but the highlight of our stay was relaxing at the pavilions in the charming garden. The breakfast was delicious, and the staff were some of the warmest and most helpful we encountered on our trip. It was the perfect place to soak in the magic of Samarkand!

Our room was large (we were upgraded to a deluxe room), with ample of light, very comfortable bed and a large bathroom (warming rack is a useful feature). Room and public areas are spotless. Service, from cleaning ladies to front desk, was very attentive. Breakfast had some Uzbeki items in addition to typical Western fare.
Hotel is a 5 min ride from Amir Timur mausoleum, which usually is the first stop on tours. There is a nice Georgian restaurant 4 min away. Decent gym. Would stay again if in town

It’s a beautiful classic building with state of the arts facilities. The property has a beautiful private park with a pool. The breakfast was very good with. The staff is very friendly and professional. The hotel is relatively small and they provided personal attention to us.

We visited Samarkand and stayed at the hotel for a night. Everything was very comfortable, and the staff was professional and accommodating. We were checked in early, which was so nice. The hotel is located within walking distance to several historical sites. We will come here again.

Charming hotel with a beautiful exterior that catches the eye.

The staff is welcoming and the service is friendly. Check-in was smooth and uncomplicated.

The rooms are on the smaller side—we had one on the ground floor overlooking the courtyard, furnished with two twin beds and a small table. The bathroom is compact as well, but the bed was comfortable, the space was clean, and the toiletries provided were of good quality.

The location is quite convenient—set on a charming and picturesque street, not far from the main sights. There’s also a lovely courtyard that’s perfect for soaking up the sun and relaxing.

Breakfast is generous, with a good amount of fresh fruit, though the overall quality and flavor of the food is average.

Worth noting: this is a dry hotel, so alcohol isn’t served. That means no beer while lounging in that otherwise inviting courtyard.

This hotel stands out all others in the region, not only for its classical architecture or the impeccable facilities, but mainly because its staff and services it provides for the guests.

I’m a demanding guest especially when it comes to services and hotel facilities. Zarafashon Parkside went above and beyond the expected. Their employees don’t spare efforts to please and making your stay memorable.

An example was Mr. Anvar who noticed I was a first timer in town and prompted himself to show the best places in town where tourists are not aware of, and treated me with a feast at his house with his family on his day off.

The bed was ultra comfortable, and the bedroom had all amenities one could require. Very silent rooms, well lit, sparking clean and pleasant in every aspect.

I strongly recommend this property for your next stay.

This hotel was perfectly fine. It was clean, efficiently run with nice rooms. Although we were on the ground floor next to reception it was not a problem noise wise.
The hotel has no communal areas to sit and have a coffee or similar. It is near a busy junction and not that close to Ragistan Square. A couple of good restaurants nearby. As in other places in Uzbekistan English was minimal, but not counting that as a particular negative as English speaking tourists are a relatively recent arrival!

Functional rather than an experience.

Extremely nice, newly renovated, luxury hotel within walking distance of the Registan. Very nice, very extensive breakfast buffet included and a nice restaurant —Old City— across the street. With the Yandex taxi app, getting anywhere in the city is easy and inexpensive.
