Pros:

If you are thinking of staying here please don’t. It is a terrible hotel and not like what it is advertised on Wotif. Staff very unhelpful, booked in advance but had no record of our stay, dirty linen, and general uncleanliness inside and out. Checked in and out on same day. Went to another hotel around the corner and was much better, cleaner, staff very friendly and helpful. I will never recommend this hotel.

Pros:

Absolute quiet!
2 minutes from the island center, with an amazing mountain view from the room and super friendly staff. I remember the moment that I opened the window to breathe some fresh air but I was amazed by the songbird which is totally in contrast with the noises from the town out there.
I've been to 5 hotels on this island before but Galaxy Cat Ba hotel's furniture is the most luxurious one, from the private balcony, well-equipped bathroom to different brightness level lights which are designed to maximize my reading, listening to music, etc.
I do feel that the owner has paid attention to every single detail for his customer and I would like to say a big thanks to him/her. We had an incredible stay here!
Don't forget to ask the receptionist for all tours information, they know Catba like the back of their hand.

Pros:

Khách sạn dường như mới xây, mọi thứ còn rất mới.
E Đại Lễ tân rất thân thiện và mến khách, chúng tôi đã bị căn giờ sai khi không thể đến chuyến phà cuối cùng sang cát bà từ bến phà Gót. May sao e Đại đã thuê được 1 chiếc xuồng giá hợp lý và chỉ mất 10 phút để đi đến bến Gia Luận.
Các chương trình hoạt động tham quan tại Cát Bà được e Đại cung cấp và tư vấn rất chuyên nghiệp , bài bản.
Ngày trở về e Đại đặt cho tôi 1 vé đi Hà Giang giá cạnh tranh
Khách sạn Galaxy với dân thượng với tầm nhìn đẹp và không gian riêng tư cho nhóm chúng tôi. Chúng tôi rất hài lòng.
Lần tới nhất định tôi sẽ quay lại Galaxy khi quay lại Cát Bà.
Tôi rất khuyến khích giới thiệu khách sạn này với những du khách khác.

Amazing service, strongly recommend to stay at Galaxy Cat Ba Hotel Elite :)
· Clean and comfortable rooms & exceptional service from the staff, especially Dai at the reception. He is always ready to help, and very trustworthy. Do not hesitate to book any tours, taxis, buses at the hotel; you will get the best service and price. Motorbikes available for rent (120k per day) at the hotel, very useful for visiting the hospital cave and national park on your own. Definitely recommend to stay here !!
