Unho Tulum

Really sweet nice place. Really quiet, roads to get there were pretty rough all rock and dirt but the little Kia i rented work just fine, just got to be careful. Room was cute, just like a little studio apartment. Really good place for what you are paying for. Private pool was nice, the pool upstairs wasn’t too crazy. Make sure you have bug spray though, mosquitos everywhere.

We were 6 people in the apartment and we were all comfortable!

Las habitaciones muy amílicas, cómoda, sin ruido, con alberca en cuarto, todo lo necesario para hacer un desayuno o cena. Un lugar muy muy cómodo. Cerca de lugares para desayunar rico y Carlos de recepción súper atento.

I liked my stay. Fell in love with Tullum

All of the pro and con reviews are true. Yes, it is not spotless, and there is mildew, the fridge is tiny and the roads are horrible. But the price is right, it is decorated tastefully, you have a kitchenette, a pool on your balcony and a lovely rooftop pool area. I felt very safe as a solo female traveler, and while I would not recommend it for older travelers (dealing with the roads especially), this is a great place for younger folks.

The hotel was a little hard to find. Due to my poor internet service. I recommend you download google maps so this will not be an issue for other people. Once I found the hotel the receptionist was very professional and helpful. The room was very clean and beautiful. Hotel internet service worked very well. The pool was very nice. The area is well lit and safe. There is a security guard overnight. It was very quiet and relaxing.

Beautiful B&B away from city center and the major drawbacks are the massive potholes in the streets and the limited walkable eating places. The furnishings and kitchenette were excellent and if you want a quiet place away from the touristy areas, this is the place. The staff was very friendly and were able to call for taxis as needed

En general el lugar está bien, siempre y cuando no necesites salir. Para ir al centro de Tulum los taxis te cobran 300 pesos, el lugar está alejado y la carretera es un desastre.

Muy agradable estancia, sólo un poco complicado llegar por las calles en mal estado, ya que son de terracería.

All Perfect

After reading what this property had to offer, the price seemed great. Upon our arrival we found it a lot different.
- Ants in the kitchen area
-Hair in the shower
-No coffee machine or electric kettle
-Inadequate kitchen utencils, rusty or broken.Deplorable pots, pans and pots etc.
- king bed, but hard as a rock
-Bar stool ready to fall apart . Dangerous
-no elevator, we had 60 steps up and another 60 steps down 1-2 times a day
- No tour dedk,spa services or shuttle bus
-Floor boards on patio will need replacing soon, dangerous
-Kithen and bathroom fixtures need replacing due to hard water and lack of maintenance.
-No coffee shop or grocery store within
-a mile of property. Cost of taxi service was $28-$30 Cdn EACH WAY!!!
- Pool and area not cleaned or serviced in , at least, 3 weeks.Garbage containers still full of garbage, dead leaves etc in pool. Probably no chlorine used in pool in weeks. We didn't want to use it for fear of skin irritations.
Location was so rural, La Valeta, that we felt like prisoners within the unit. Too far to walk anywhere. too dangerous due to poor infastucture. Pothloes everywhere, water st least 6-7 inches deep.
- Taxis even hesitant in coming into the area due to conditions in La Valeta
- Too many gross photos to show you.

I really enjoyed my stay here. The place was very spacious and lots of room to spread out. Had a private entry with a private pool. Gerardo was very helpful with showing off the property, recommending where to eat and even offering to door dash and scheduling a taxi cab back to the airport. The area looks a little sketch but not intimidating once you get out and explore.

El lugar está hermoso, la habitación está en excelente condiciones e impecable el lugar. El único detalle que tiene es que difícil de ubicar pero ahí en fuera recomiendo el lugar un 100%.

The rooms were missing towels and some supplies. We were able to request but generally we expect those things in the room on arrival. Really bad roads nearby.

The communication between the host was amazing. The AC was great WiFi was great too. Shower pressure 10/10. The only problem was the potholes but the hotel was perfect.

El departamento/habitación es muy amplio, confortable, bien iluminado,limpio. La atención impecable.

Great little place to stay at a good rate. Walking distance to a few local spots. Surrounding area is under construction but that didn’t impact our stay.

This property was such a vibe! My friends and I enjoyed our stay.. the negative comments about the area was not needed! If you ever been to Tulum then you already know it is developing, however, the property was amazing!! The property manager was really helpful, informative, and I was able to communicate with him about whatever I needed during our stay. We really enjoyed our stay!! I encourage yall to book..
