Professional property host/manager
Very nice property and lovely staff.
Generally good. Bed was most comfortable I’ve had for some time travelling and shower water pressure was excellent. Two negatives - the pool was cloudy. Just not terribly clean. The breakfast offering was somewhere between plain and awful. Staff were lovely.
BEWARE! We live in Cambodia and we are remodeling our home so we have been renting a room a couple times aweek to relax. Been in over 30 hotels in area. We have a toy poodle and we only stay in pet friendly hotels that don't charge a pet fee. We have NEVER had a problem till now. 1st they try to charge a 10 pet fee when there page say free. They wave the fee as long as they may check the room before we leave. No problem. A toy poodle is hypoallergenic and they don't shed that's why we have her because my wife is allergic otherwise to dogs. My wife Pampers her and washes her daily and she was washed in the hotel room when we got there she is also housebroken. We were literally in the room 10 hours total and then went to check out. They looked at the room and claimed it had an odor and they had to have a cleaning fee this room has tile floors and the dog slept with us the entire night what a scam. They made a scene at the front desk that the dog smelled up the room it was embarrassing unprofessional and not at all true I laid $10 on the counter and left and disgust not worth an argument at all. What a complete disappointment.
Note to manager. as I have stated above we have stayed in over 30 hotels in the area and we have put together a website where we're letting people know decent places to stay and yours will not be one of them.
The way you handle this will cost you a lot more than $10 that you made off us for nothing. We will be sending no customers your way.
Such a beautiful space, and such a nice room! Laundry service was quick and excellent quality. The staff were very hospitable and kind.
This hotel is tranquil and peaceful and beautifully presented to a very high standard. The staff are friendly and couldn’t do anymore for you, the restaurant food was good and hotel had a lovely swimming pool, we really enjoyed our stay here.
Best hotel we have stayed in!
Value for money quiet beuatiful.pool.
Staff were all loveky.
Good cooked breakfast
Staff were excellent, friendly and accomodating. Easy walk to centre of town. Restaurant food was excellent.
We had a pleasant stay. The hotel is modern and very clean. Staff are very friendly and helpful. Would recommend.
We loved the Riverside Hotel. A beautiful oasis on a quiet street but close to the great stuff. Staff is professional, kind and attentive. Great pool scene. Hip and tasteful decor.
Good location across the river in Wat Bo. A 15 min walk to centre/pub street. Lovely pool.
Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast good. We had an issue with air con and lack of hot water. They moved us into a new room straightaway. One negative. There is an issue with a cockerel next door. It starts crowing very early around 2.30am and doesn't stop. Hotel management are trying to resolve the situation with the neighbour but you should check if it has been resolved before you book or take good earplugs!
For my first ever visit to Cambodia turned out to be a delightful experience, chiefly due to the location, ambiance and customer service at the Riversoul Boutique Hotel.
A restaurant within the Hotel that made meals from scratch and served them with a smile was an added feature that I liked. Starting the day with their breakfast choices helped to plan an entire day's itinerary with ease.
The friendly and cooperative staff endeared me to the Cambodian spirit of hospitality.
Excellent hotel with exceedingly good service in a wonderful location. Just a quick 10 minute walk from the excitement of Pub Street, this quiet area was perfect for our 4-night stay. The staff were so warm, welcoming and gracious. We enjoyed the onsite restaurant, cocktails, and massage services and were highly satisfied with all of them. Don't miss Latte Bar just a few steps away with their tasty beverages.
Wifi did not have the strongest signal but we weren't there to work anyway, so it wasn't a big problem.
Nice hotel. We did not eat here. WIFI coverage was not good
The property is beautiful and our room was clean, spacious, comfortable. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, accommodating any request.
The location is perfect and walkable to many sites in downtown Siem Reap, with a lovely walk (or run) along the river. It is also just a tiny bit closer to Angkor Wat than most hotels, which gave us the advantage of being the last to be picked up and first dropped off for our sunrise tour of Angkor Wat!
Overall a great stay and would definitely recommend staying here.
Darling place, decent but not great. The rooster is the manliest rooster I ever heard, kinda funny. Not really a bother, but not having hot water was a bigger issue for us. When we asked they said “maybe tomorrow”. We said we leave at 6;30am and would really appreciate hot water but for the second day, there was none.
Restaurant was okay but nothing great. Front desk kids awfully nice, but again, couldn’t really help with problem.
Excellent experience! Staff very friendly and helpful. Restaurant and bar very good
This is what I would call a true boutique hotel, offering excellent value for the price. The staff were lovely and thoughtful, even making sure to inform me about the rooster that would ensure an early wake-up!
This is a boutique hotel as the name suggest.
The hotel is right by the river and we could walk everywhere, to cafes, to the restaurants, to old market, to pub street. and yet very quiet
I booked a family suite for 4 but it is basically 2 adjoining room with the main bedroom like a mini suite with living area. The minor gripes I have
1) the shower room does not have a door or a shower curtain so I had to get my adult kids to go the next room when we want to take our shower. Water also splashes to the vanity area. I would suggest they install a shower curtain to keep this a bit more discreet. The window at the shower area is also not covered. Whilst there are not nearby buildings, I could see a building some distance area. that made me rather uncomfortable.
2) the amenities provided is rather basic. only shampoo and body wash, no conditioner. The shampoo doesn't seem to be conditioning shampoo so if anyone is particular, might want to bring your own.
Breakfast is ordered by the menu. if you have an early start, you might want to pre order at the front desk as the kitchen takes some time to prepare.
We had massage at the hotel. Not that cheap by Cambodia standards but at least it is safe and clean. They offered a 30% discount, but offset against the service charge and tax of 15% so effectively 15% the listed price. The massage was really relaxing. But hubby was in a separate room and the massage table had no hole so his head was to the side the whole time.
Rooms need renovation
Nicely located close to the river, in a quiet and walkable area, this hotel is good value - recommended.
