観光のための旅だったので、ホテル滞在時間が少なくて残念でした。
４／１からのアウトドアプールが使用できた
１５時過ぎてから掃除に来て、プールのために水着に着替えていたら、不機嫌そうに早くしてほしいと言われた。
プールがあり、室内は清潔でした。
少し駅から離れているので、15〜20分ほど歩く必要がある。
Beautiful decor and spacious facilities (gym and swimming pool), comfortable beds and helpful staff. The welcome snack/drinks box was also very much appreciated. Also easy walking distance to many shopping areas and the subway (5 min walk), and staff are also on hand to call taxis if you need.
Air conditioning not available despite weather turning warmer earlier than expected, so we had to open the balcony door (with insect screen) which meant it was slightly noisier than preferred.
The aesthetics of this hotel are genuinely stunning, the design is almost perfect and feels very high end. The gym is one of the best I’ve seen in a hotel, with state of the art equipment, and the indoor pool is incredible.
Unfortunately, the experience is let down badly by the management and service. The staff felt more like policemen than hospitality, everything is overly controlled, including strict time limits on the gym and pool, which often close to prevent guests from “hogging” facilities they’ve paid for.
Housekeeping was inconsistent at best. Some days pillows would randomly disappear, and I even found receipts in the room from previous guests, which made me question the cleanliness of the room.
The biggest issue by far is that you have no control over the air conditioning or heating in your room, it’s centrally controlled by the hotel. This wasn’t disclosed, and staff initially denied it until we pushed further. Our room was uncomfortably hot (especially being loft-style where heat rises), and we were told to open the door to cool down, which felt unsafe being on the third floor.
Also worth noting: the layout isn’t very practical, with the toilet located quite far from the bed.
Overall, I can see why this isn’t a 5-star hotel. The design is beautiful, but the service and overall guest experience fall well below expectations.
