This is hotel stories from us staying for 4 days in Brussel.
-Getting check-in was tough as we arrived after 6 pm, staff went home and only provide info through email, if you have data. Information was very unclear, so we had to call the 24 hours number to get assistance. Luckily people stayed there helped us out as we were outside for an hour trying to have access to our room.
-I was robbed infront of the hotel while 2 staffs were watching while I was screaming for help. My watch was snatched and I was minorly hurt. Aftermath, staffs just gave me bandages and refused to call police for me. They were afraid the bad guys would retaliate.
-The area was very sketchy to walk specifically at night.
-Wifi is non existence as promised.
Conclusion: I would not recommend this hotel at all as we find it very uncomfortable to stay.
The worst place in Brussels. Horrible. Broken pieces all over the unit. Shower broken. Curtains broken. TV for decoration only. AC not working. Not safe. Building locks you outside in a dangerous street. The worst of all.
The people working there are great, friendly and helpful.
The flat was big and clean.
The location was pretty central.

Overall the location we had was fine but the furniture in the room was dirty. Staff we had when we checked in was great. Only downside is that they are only open from 10AM to 6pm and closed for lunch. Which connivence when you need something is next to nothing. Wifi didn’t work on the floor we were on & TV never worked either
Views were nice & if you get a cat on your balcony, we called him George.

I had a terrible experience staying in this hotel. The apartment is really dirty, the furniture are horrible, bathrooms are filthy.
The environment is noisy and not a safe place.
We were supposed to spend four night but we had to checkout after two days.
My son got bitten by bed bugs.
Please do not book this apartment.

The location was convenient since it was only 20 min walk to Grand Place. However, the area did not feel too safe, especially at night.
The apartment was spacious and was very helpful to have kitchen, fridge, microwave. However some minor repairs can be done. Also booked a 1 bedroom apartment and there was A/C in the living area but not in the main bedroom.

Stayed here for a 3 night stay. The apartment was very modern but needed maintenance.. firstly the TV was not working and we went down to reception and told them and we was told there was a problem with the ariel and all TVs in the building were out. I don’t know how long that’s been going on for or are they going to fix it? There was a small jacuzzi with a shower attached and once again the jacuzzi was not working also another thing they had turned off or not working? Overall the kitchen was ok with good utensils but no knife. So we ended up using a butter knife to cut the vegetables. There was no cleaning stuff only washing up liquid and a sponge. Nothing for the kitchen counters to clean or the hub. The area itself was close to the Eurotunnel station /main stations and a local metro was not far. Good for travel connections. On one day our key card would not work so I had to get in contact with SmartflatServices online and eventually someone came to help.
We had a email two days before arrival saying there is a big event/fair taking place near the hotel and apologised . This happened to be directly opposite the hotel and in the evening you could hear loud music people screaming because of fair rides. If I had known this was taking place I would have booked else where. The area was run down and a lot of people just hanging around so be careful as my husband nearly got mugged!!! We didn’t like the area at all but as soon as you get out on the train it was ok.
The hotel has a few positives — it was clean, and the location is very convenient to the train station and the center of Brussels.
However, there were several serious downsides to our stay. The blow dryer and TV didn’t work at all, the mattress was uncomfortable (you could feel the springs), and the window next to the bed had no blinds, leaving us completely exposed to a busy street — which felt uncomfortable. The surrounding neighborhood also felt a little sketchy, which might make it less of a solo hotel
On top of all that, reception had very limited hours, so it was impossible to reach anyone for assistance with these issues during our stay.
I am writing to you with deep frustration and disappointment after experiencing an absolutely unacceptable stay at the hotel I booked through your platform. From the moment we arrived, it was clear that the property did not meet even the most basic standards of cleanliness, safety, or comfort. Here are just some of the issues we encountered:
• The entrance was full of trash.
• The air conditioner was leaking, creating puddles on the floor.
• The floor was wet and slippery, posing a hazard—especially with children present.
• The shower was dirty, as was the rest of the bathroom.
• The furniture was filthy and in poor condition.
This situation was not only unpleasant—it completely ruined the vacation I had planned with my family, a trip we were all looking forward to.
This is the first time I’ve had such a terrible experience with a hotel booked through your platform, and I refuse to let this go unnoticed. I demand a full refund for this reservation. I will not stop until this matter is resolved fairly.
I am attaching photos/videos as evidence (if applicable), and I expect a prompt response and a satisfactory resolution.
We really liked the size of the place. The area was good during the day, but definitely a little sketchy at night. Had zero problems during our stay and staff was really helpful.
