I made a booking for the accommodation and later cancelled the reservation on the same day. I also contacted the property owner directly to discuss the refund.
2. Agreement from Owner
The owner informed me that a full refund would be provided. Based on this information, I proceeded with the cancellation.
3. Actual Situation During the Stay
We did not stay overnight at the property. We checked out on the same day and did not spend a night at the accommodation.
4. Incorrect Information Provided to Customer Service
However, the owner later informed Booking.com customer service that we stayed for one night before checking out. Because of this statement, the platform indicated that a full refund could not be processed.
5. Clarification
This information is incorrect. We did not stay for one night at the property. We checked out on the same day, and I have evidence to prove this.

The place was extremely dirty, and there were bed bugs!!! , a lot of dust on the bed, and the fridge still had stains left by previous guests. It was quite unacceptable.
Air conditioning is not powerful enough for the whole room, so the upstairs user will be pretty hot & uncomfortable all the time.
I don't know why there are eyelashes on the wall too....

Fridge & laundry machines are in the next door unit, but all good it’s still very accessible . No complaints

Too quiet and deserted. Nobody around at the time I checked in.
The room was okay and generally comfortable. However, the shower water pressure was quite slow, and the air conditioner wasn’t very strong it took a long time to get cold. Also, the bathroom door couldn’t be locked, which was a bit inconvenient. Overall, still an okay stay, but there’s room for improvement.
