Gogò Petit Hotel

Modern aesthetic in an old building....intriguing experience. Staff was friendly and helpful and the rooms had every convenience we Americans have come to expect...AC, coffee and snacks in room, comfy bed...excellent European breakfast

This hotel is an excellent one to stay at when on Florence. It is conveniently located to walk to local sites. Shopping is nearby and lots of restaurants. It is in a safe area and parking is available nearby.

We stayed at here for two nights on our first visit to Florence and loved it. It’s a small boutique hotel, around a 20-minute walk from the centre and main sights. Our room was large, quiet, and very clean, with useful amenities like an iron, safe, TV, and a great rain shower in the bathroom.

The staff were excellent - very welcoming, communicating via WhatsApp ahead of our stay, and even arranging an early check-in. They personally showed us to our room, which was a lovely touch. Special thanks to Daniel and Leonia, who were both incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Do note that access involves two flights of stairs, though there’s a lift from the first floor up to the second, which helps when carrying luggage.

Breakfast was decent, with a good selection of cheese, ham, breads, jams, pastries, cereals, fruit, yoghurt, juice, and coffee.

A warm, friendly, and convenient base for exploring Florence - highly recommend!

Great property that is in short walking distance to all the nearby sights Florence has to offer. It was comfortable, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and hospitable.

Está a 15 minutos caminando de la estación de tren, bastante accesible, a 30 minutos de la plaza san Lorenzo, zona muy tranquila, habitaciones limpias, servicio eficiente. Nosotros nos quedamos por una noche y todo fantástico.

The hotel is really close to touristic areas a o we could walk from there. The personal was really nice!

My friend and I stayed here for 4 nights and we had a lovely stay. The staff was very kind and always there to help us out even after hours. Would definitely stay here again!

Very nice and cozy place, very friendly and helpful staff. The only thing that makes my stay not comfortable is the size of the room which was too small.

The staff was friendly and helpful. They were happy to recommend restaurants and places to visit. They were accommodating with our schedule. Felt very safe in the area and the the hotel has door codes on each level for added security. Would definitely stay here again.

Bed is fine. Area is safe, next to the Arno River.

Overall Gogò Petit is a nice place to stay at night.
The owner is lovely and was happy to answer any of our questions!
However, we did have an issue with our room being left unlocked everyday after being cleaned/restocked. As people who travelled from very, very far- we have all of our important documents, ID’s, and money in our bags, we did not feel comfortable knowing our things could have been taken by anyone else in the hotel throughout the day.
The wifi worked great- if that’s something crucial to anyone reading this!
It is not as centrally located as the advertisement says, it was maybe a 20 minute walk, but still close enough for the price.
We did have very loud construction outside of our window every morning.
You have to walk up a few flights of stairs to get to the hotel- so be aware just for anyone who may have accessibility needs (however there is a small elevator one you get up, between the hotels 1st and second floors).

Nice hotel, close to everything you want to see in Florence. A little bit small breakfast area, but still ok breakfast.

This was such a unique and interesting building with a lot of character. We were looking for something in Florence that was away from the hustle and bustle of the tourists, and this location delivered. It is a bit of a walk to things (only about 15-20 minutes) but was completely worth it. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The shower was awesome. There were some steps up to the main lobby, but we knew about those and they weren't a problem. Check-in was very easy and communication was excellent. The staff was simply amazing - so friendly and helpful. We will definitely be staying here again if we return to Florence.

Séjour parfait, propriétaire agréable et sympa, chambre confortable et silencieuse avec tout ce qu'il faut pour bien séjourner dans la ville de Florence. Seul bémol le fait que l'hôtel est dans une zone a trafic limité, mais il y a des parkings pas trop loin. Bon petit déjeuner. Merci encore pour ce séjour!
