Love the rustic New England feel throughout the inn. It was so beautiful! All the decorations !
The bathroom shower did not work, well we couldn’t figure out how to get it to work but the hand held was able to be used.
Very friendly staff checking in and out, breakfast cook was delightful and food was very good, location was great and it was very quiet which we appreciated.
We were trying to run the air conditioner on low & auto, but it never came on all night, room got stuffy. We tried running it on high, but the person sleeping in the bed right in front of it found it to cold blowing right on them. The toliet definitely needs to be upgraded to a chair height one, sits way to low, suitable for a child.
Staff-Lisa at Reception Main location and Patrick at reception at the Lodge'Ranch' and Claire the breakfast cook...all were very friendly, professional, and polite!
Love the nostalgia of the lnn/Lodge. Our room was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. I've already told my family they need to come here!!! My niece and nephew attend Plymouth Univ and my sister and husband just have to stay there when they come up for the college sports!!
My friends and I want to come again very soon!!
Not a thing!
I was extremely disappointed in the indoor pool at the inn. I was expecting some thing bigger than a hot tub The access to the spa and pool areas were way below expectations in the cost of the hotel rooms.
Friendly staff and amazing food!
Easy to find
Parking
The breakfast was good and we enjoyed eating dinner and lunch at the pub! The staff was friendly and food delicious .
There was a bright light right outside our window..
Staff was nice, coffee in lobby was good
Heating system was loud and worked poorly. Beds were old. Room walls were dirty and hallways gross.
It was quaint and quiet.
The toilet paper holder fell off the wall. The door handle was loose and had paint on it. For the money. Should have been better
Convenience
Not at same location as main building. The website indicated this but it was not clear the building was an entirely different location (I thought it was a separate building from the main one but on the same campus)
The spa is permanently closed! The website didn’t tell us that when we booked . They should make sure people are aware there is no longer a spa here s that is half the reason we stay here! This changes a lot for us coming back .
The aesthetic of the hotel is nice, comforting, and fitting for the area. Decor is great, lots of options in the store from souvenirs to snacks. Cozy fireplace in the lobby and games to choose from, the aesthetic of the room we stayed in and hotel overall is great. Antique decor was cool to see, old cash register and pictures to interact with and look at were a great touch! Boiler room is a must see.
We got the king lodge suite, which was a higher price than expected for amenities provided. King bed was hard as a rock and not comfortable to sleep on, and the fireplace didn’t work in the room. We mainly stayed because of the spa amenities it had to offer. The hot tub had clumps of sand or foundation settled at the bottom that we could feel when we got in, and there was a clump of hair next to a dead bug on the ground next to the pool itself. It looked like it hadn’t been aired out/ thoroughly cleaned or swept in a long time. Food was hit or miss at fosters, but atmosphere was neat.
Lots to look at. Helpful and pleasant staff. Nice breakfast.
