A great hotel in Suzhou
Pros:

Not a large hotel but very good. We got really spacious rooms on the 6th floor. The rooms are super comfortable, clean, modern, with all the latest amenities. Location was good, in close didi rides to all the main attractions. Very nice staff, even though they do not speak almost any English. Good breakfast for westerners. Overall we liked our stay at the hotel.

Cons:

Nothing really - no English speaking staff, but we managed with Google translate and the staff was really nice, so this was not an issue.

The staff were exceptionally helpful - we left a phone charger behind and they helped posted it to our next destination.
Pros:

Modern interior with good views. Toilets were modern with electric heated seat. Beds were comfy and clean.

Modern Hotel, Close to guan qian street food, Shops all around, Spacious Rooms
Pros:

Clean modern hotel with a semi open bathroom which i really like (it makes the room larger)
you can close the bathroom with sliding doors eventually. Rooms are spacious enough for 2 large suit cases also there is a sofa and free mini bar / tea / coffee available

The hotel is around 10 min walk from a subway station and only 2 stops to Suzhou Railway Station. so perfect if you are catching your next train to Shanghai or Hangzhou, Wuxi. Personally i did not bother going by Metro with 2 big suitcases as Didi is not expensive. by car it's around 15 min with a didi.
Another metro tip: when it's around 17:00-20:00 it's sometimes impossible to get a didi (rush hour)...taking the Metro is super convenient with Alipay metro card Highly Recommended

15-20 min walk to Guan Qian Street (food)

Gym looks really nice! with loads of weights and proper equipment! one of the better gyms i have seen in china...well i would have expected that since it's Marriott related.

Breakfast is great! chinese breakfasts always good! in most chinese hotels you can order a noodle and just mix and match your own condiments like shredded pork/chicken, nuts, green onions, sour veggies, fatty pork etc
one of my favourite is just to order a plain mian with soup and just throw everything what you like (custom made noodles)

Staff can speak english so rest assured

There is a rack of hanfu clothing which is for free (you can just borrow it for 1 day) and then return it...but since it was raining that day we did not bother with it...also some of the clothes look already worn (so if you're not sure you can just request the staff to wash it first and then use it the next day). After our experience with Xu Yan Chinese Banquet it gets a bit hot after a while so maybe a tip for the staff: Try to check up on the used Hanfu clothes...if something has been used it has to be washed.

Free umbrellas also when it's raining outside so never worry about the rain!

Cons:

view across the AC hotel is an abandoned building (which is planned to be renovated i know but still...look at an abandoned building doesn't make your morning happy)

Maybe the price...AC Marriott is definitely not a cheap option but you can see it in their service and rooms. the rooms look really nice and yes there are better priced options but if you're a fan of Marriott hotels this will definitely live up to your standards.

Pros:

Vicina alla fermata metro e al centro, camera pulita, ultra moderno, staff disponibile e gentile. Letto comodissimo, bagno con porta scorrevole per chiuderlo. Consigliato.

Si sentivano i suoni dei sensori del bagno e della tenda…un po rumoroso il tutto..
