Pleasantly surprised
Pros:

The hotel is relatively new so I expected it to be clean (less wear & tear). The daily cleaning, dust removal in corners, behind objects, etc. has not been overlooked. This did surprise me. The staff was very friendly and helpful. I arrived around 7pm and at at the bar (too tired after a 6 hour drive). The burger and fries were absolutely fantastic! The town of Cheraw was very small, clean, and just genuine. I made the weekend trip to attend a family funeral but I was able to enjoy the trip, despite the occasion.

Cons:

I didn't like my 6 hour drive, hahaha! That's a "ME" problem. The hotel accommodations were very nice.

Pros:

Breakfast was great. Wide selection of foods; cereals, hot meats, eggs, make your waffles.

Cons:

Beds/mattresses in the room we stayed in this time were worn out and not as comfortable as expected.
Check in issues were ALL due to booking.com and NOT the hotel staff. The confirmation number I had received was not forwarded to the hotel.

Never Again
Pros:

Everything was wonderful until I returned home and the hotel was trying to take money off my debit card.

Cons:

The hotel trying to take money off my debit card for parking, when on the website they advertise free parking! Front desk clerk said it was a new SC state law. I haven't heard that one and stay at hotels around the state all the time. I will be checking into it. When I called she said they didnt tell you at check in. NO! THEY DID NOT SAY ANYTHING AT CHECK IN! I would have parked some where else and walked to the hotel. That is CRAZY rent a room at the hotel and have to pay to park in the hotel parking lot!!!!
Never again! Especially when the advertise free parking!!!

Lovely hotel in a charming town
Pros:

Lovely hotel with excellent, large rooms; a good breakfast; and a friendly, helpful staff. The location is reached very easily and allows a chance to walk around the charming town.
