Locatie, gemak, volledig

Cons:

Het eerste contact met personeel wat ons voorbij liep. Er was wel aandacht voor restaurant gasten maar wij werden genegeerd.

Locatie perfect.
Personeel was erg vriendelijk.

Cons:

Ontbijt was goed, de broodjes lekker. Het beleg had iets meer afwisseling mogen hebben als ook het fruit. Daar lag iedere ochtend een trosje druiven.

Er werd verbouwd. Bij aankomst via de brandtrap naar kamer met zware bagage. Terras vol met rommel. Overdag niet in hotel kunnen komen omdat vloeren werden gelegd etc.

Tegenvallend.
Pros:

De locatie maakt heel veel goed en de kamer was overigens ook prima.

Cons:

Vooraf informeren dat er een enorme verbouwing plaats vindt zou fijn zijn i.p.v. dit in de mail melden na de boeking. Wij vinden in dit geval: of ga volledig dicht als hotel of blijf open met vermelding en daal in de prijs.

Daarnaast vonden we het ontbijt zeer beperkt (en ook rommelig in de zaal0 en het personeel (niet iedereen gelukkig) niet heel gastvrij.

Pros:

Goede bedden en aangename ruimte voor een 3 persoonskamers.

Cons:

Temperatuur op de kamer, veel te warm en geen aangepaste lakens.
Deur in de kamer leidde naar een badkamer die buiten gebruik was. Deze was niet afgesloten en lag vol puin. Dit werd wel opgelost door het personeel.
Pas na het boeken werden we geïnformeerd over werkzaamheden in het hotel.

Het verblijf was royaal.
Pros:

We zijn blij verrast met de moeite die boutique hotel Enkhuizen heeft gedaan om enerzijds de kamer te upgraden en vervolgens ook nog heel verwelkomend op te maken.

Cons:

Het was warm in de kamer, met nog geen manier om het echt kouder te krijgen als het buiten warm is. In de huidige verbouwingen wordt als het goed is airco geïnstalleerd en is dit verholpen.

I would definitely stay here again the next time I need to come back for work. Nice central hotel.
Pros:

The only surprise was the current refurbishment of the hotel restaurant which was closed when we were there. This was an issue for the first night of our stay

The staff were really attentive and friendly

Cons:

We arrived late in the evening on Christmas Day and checked in. When we woke up the rooms were freezing with no heating and no water. We called reception and they denied there was any issues and said ‘just run the hot water for a bit’. When calling back, they admitted there was an issue with their boiler and there wasn’t any warm water in the hotel. Nothing was offered to compensate for this, even though we were travelling with my elderly mother-in-law, who really needs to shower on a regular basis. By the time we had packed our things to leave the hotel to find alternative accommodation, breakfast wasn’t served anymore (it was 11am) and nothing was offered to us. Really poor service and appalling that a 4* hotel doesn’t have warm water or heating in the middle of winter!!
