Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions.
A damage deposit of EUR 400 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property.
After confirmation, Sonder will reach out through email with a secure link to create a Sonder account. Local regulations require that the guest will provide a photo of their government issued photo ID and a selfie. Guests will receive check in details from property management three days prior to arrival as long as they have completed the Sonder Account and Online Check in. The location was good if you’re okay with the night life. The room was big enough and the balcony was very nice. There is also a great roof deck. It was nice to have a refrigerator and coffee maker in the room. Staff was very nice and helpful.
The bed was very hard but didn’t impact our sleep as much as the noise from the alleyway and nearby square. It was also difficult to be in our room for extended periods because there was an overwhelming sewage smell emanating from the bathroom shower and sink. The entryway also had a strong stale/musty odor.
Just about to leave this lovely hotel & I would definitely stay again. Fabulous location just off Plaça Rieall, which is full of lovely Tapas bars.
I had to check in after midnight, due to my late flight, but was given instructions on how to do this. I checked in at Hotel California (3min walk from Hotel Hamsa) & was greeted by the friendly night security. Once he’d checked me in, he walked me over to my hotel, showed me how to use the keypad to get in & also took me right to my room (I was travelling alone).
The room was a decent size with a lovely bathroom & comfortable bed, plus everything else you would expect & need. There is a nice roof terrace if you want to sit out.
Although I didn’t see any staff during my stay, I did have contact details if needed.
It can be a bit noisy, with being in a city centre, but a pair of earplugs soon sort that.
I have enjoyed my stay & would definitely return.
Shower floor can be slippy, maybe a non slip bathmat would help.
Tesis her seyiyle harika olanaklara sahip, temiz rahat ve iyi bir lokasyonda. Kesinlikle kisa zaman gelenler icin muhtesem bir konumda. Personel anlayisli, gec check-out rica ettik, izin verdiler! Cok tesekkur ederiz.
Her sey harika, yalnizca aksamlari hafif bir ses olabiliyor. Bence sehir merkezinde konakladigimiz icin oldukca normal:)

Good looking renovated design, comfortable, clean. Great location, great staff, the room is full with bathroom necessities, flip flops, Bathrobe, hairdryer, kettle, everything you need. Very cute small balcony. The staff is so friendly and nice, helped us with everything, loved everything.

Fabulous location in the Gothic Quarter. So many restaurants just outside in the Placa Reial.
The room was lovely, really comfy and everything you need included. There is a lift too if you don't want to face the stairs!
Theres no reception at the hotel, but the sister hotel is only 2min walk away and the reception staff there were brilliant.
We checked in late and they walked us over to Hamsa

Super mooi gebouw, de kamers voelen zo gezellig aan. Je voelt je er helemaal op je gemak, zeker als je alleen reist zoals ik! Het ligt aan placa reial, beter kan het niet zijn! Het personeel is ook top! Super lief en staan altijd voor je klaar via whatsapp

Har väldigt bra läge intill Ramblas och Lucie station. Trillar ut intill ett vackert torg med flertalet bra restauranger. Välstädat och fräscht. Fantastisk service från receptionisten/-erna av California Hotel. Kan varmt rekommendera boendet.
Ingen renovering denna gång, men kvällsdunk från klubben bredvid inget som störde oss dock men förstår om folk som väcks lätt. Däremot lakan även om de var tjocka och mysigt att lägga sig i dem så andas de inte så bra så man vaknade dyblöt av svett och inte kunde man kasta av täcket för då var det för kallt. Men i bästa fall var det bara fel på oss. Sen knarra sängen så fort man vände sig i den. Vi hade lite strul med koderna till port och dörr men som tidigare nämnt så räddas det upp av den fantastiska personalen och deras service.

The only slight negative was that the corridors smelt a little like drains. Everything else was wonderful so I wouldn’t let this affect if you stay.
Das Hotel war sehr sauber. Unser Zimmer war größer als erwartet. Es bot alles, was man brauchte, um dich wohl zu fühlen. Die Lage war sehr zentral in der Nähe der Ramblas. Auch ein Check-in nach 12 Uhr Mitternacht wurde möglich gemacht. Das Hotel ist sehr zu empfehlen.
