I stayed here for 5 days during the summer. I loved that there is a beach walking distance from the place. Restaurant line the coast as you walk. The bed was so comfortable. Huge private bathroom with great lighting. You can listen to the ocean while you sleep. My only complaint would be that there is no mini fridge. Overall, I would recommend it if you are looking for a quiet place to stay.

Pros:

The property is old, dirty, and run down. Bugs crawling all over the filthy stove and mold everywhere. Dirty bed sheets, towels and blankets. The guy that handles the booking was very remorseful and helpful. He did refund my money. However, don’t waste the money on this dump.

Over all it was good, but there was a lot of mosquitos no fridge, no mocrowave, no hair blower, no iron and no hangers or closet Space, good for a day but not for a longer stayed.

I enjoyed this place, very serene and relaxing. My one complaint, we didn’t realize this was located basically on top of a karaoke bar that goes well past midnight. The place is really nice and would come back!

What a View !!! 😍😍😍
Pros:

The ocean view was stunning literally steps away from the beach sunrises and sunsets were a highlight! It was very comfy and cozy and tons of places to eat and have cocktails nearby; Mike was absolutely amazing and accommodating he is the true definition of a Host and made our stay even more delightful we will definitely be returning to Mares Guesthouse !!!

Pros:

La habitacion era muy pequena e incomoda. La cama estaba rota o suelta, el ruido que hacia no nos dejo descansar bien. Las sabanas horribles y la temperatura del aire mantuvo el cuarto caluroso. No lo recomendaria a nadie.
