Staff great, property dated and needs some upgrading! Doors need securing as noisy in the wind! Rooms very dark

No recomiendo este lugar para nada. Llegamos en la madrugada y al llegar se nos realizó un cobro adicional de 40 mil pesos los cuales si no se pagan en el minuto no podíamos hospedarnos ahí. Este cobro fue a parte del pago por la habitación que se había hecho al momento de la reserva. Una vez llegamos a la habitación, tenía un olor a humedad terribleeee estaba irrespirable, el baño de la habitación tenía vida propia de la cantidad de hongos que tenía, sobre todo en la ducha. La cama tenía un cubrecama blanco totalmente manchado, ni siquiera quiero pensar de que manchas o fluidos se trataban, pero un desagrado total. Nada que ver con las fotos, una estafa total, no desperdicien su dinero en este hotel. El desayuno dejo mucho que desear, el jugo que servían parecía jugo en polvo de la peor calidad, el café era en sobre malo, lo único bonito el exterior, muy verde, pero todo se opaca con la pésima y traumante experiencia de la habitación.

Atmosphere

Had an amazing time here. The staff were friendly and speak English well, you can grab beers from the fridge for 2000 cpl a piece, the ambiance of the terrace is calming, and the breakfast is great with yogurt, eggs, cereal and deli meats as options with plenty of bread and cake slices. The room was cozy with an air conditioning unit overhead and soft sheets over a spring mattress for beds. The shower is surprising as it has three nozzles, the water heater is in the bathroom telling you how hot the stored water is and superb water pressure. And finally, as the capstone, the castle cat is cute.
Be sure to ring the bell at the door (rope at top right) and have a similarly great stay.

Muy buena experiencia un bello lugar

El lugar es bello y tiene mucho potencial, pero le falta mucho en temas como el desayuno, muy poca variedad y además equipamiento deficiente, ejemplo la cafetera, alguién vegano o que deba tomar lacteos sin lactosa, no sobrevive, en las habitaciones, faltan toallas y confort, podría seguir, pero la relación del precio y atención comparado con otros lugares del mismo precio, esta muy por debajo

And a cool hotel!

This medieval hotel was fine, however I have the following complaints.
1. The address on hotels.com is wrong.
2. It is not clear how to enter the hotel. There is a sign in English on the door that says “We Are Open” but you have to ring the doorbell to get in.
3. You have to pay extra as a foreigner if you don’t have your visa paper.
4. Exiting the hotel requires ringing a bell, which was not explained.
