Rien.
Well located for both temple visits and exploring town at night. Very quiet in the evenings, Beautiful green trees and garden, lovely clean Swimmingpool.
No coffee in the Morning
When I viewed your listing and reviews on Booking.com, everything looked great. However, upon arrival, I was disappointed to see that the reality does not match the advertisement.
1. The booking advertisement stated “entire villa with 12 bedrooms,” but this is in fact a hotel with separate rooms. As a result, our family is split into different rooms, which is not suitable for social interaction or gathering as we had expected.
2. My children were especially excited to use the swimming pool, but it was not properly maintained. The water was murky and dirty, and chlorine was just added this evening, which prevented us from enjoying the pool. Additionally, some tiles were coming loose, making it unsafe for the children to walk or swim.
3. We discovered large spiders, lizards, and cockroaches in our room, which has left the children very frightened and unable to sleep comfortably.
I can say I was only one person at that moment, but there is one guy from the staff he always smiling, and always asking u what u need ,and the pool was quiet and clean ,room was very big and the bed was great ,breakfast was ok but if get more options for the drink wil be amazing
I liked everything. Very beautiful room with amazing balcony with a great view. Very comfortable and quiet. Good location in the countryside, although there's very few good restaurants nearby. Super clean, amazing service, delicious breakfast.
Nothing.
I quite regret and disappointed with Booking.com as I never met this case before, due to my stay at Maratha Boutique hotel it really dirty, stupid staff, and owner with Poor responsibility as I never met before.
The Marirath boutique Hotel is very bad hotel because I booked the price is quite high and also the room like a guest house as you can find them in the pictures.
When I asked about the room type that I booked was the Boutique side with 2 bedrooms and the room Same as booking.com posting that why i decided to book it.
Unfortunately, after I arrived the hotel quite stupid responsibility and arrange the room somewhere else and told me stayed, I really want to move but cannot refunds.
This is not a boutique, it’s a Guest House with stupid price boom up x3times (the price in total is 85.50$), as I checked the real room price should be 15$-20$ only suitable for guest walk-in and member of Booking.com
I have no ideas why Booking.com select this hotel and promote it for guests to stay at stupid hotel with different conditions.
If you (Booking.com) still consider to put this hotel in your list more and promoted to your customer, it means you also break your customer’s heart. They will not booking with you again.
I will also post it in the social media in officially, it’s not a good condition to keep this Guest house in list anymore.
Please blacklist it (Marirath Boutique guest house), I will post it soon.
Thank you for having space for me to share my feeling
The room was very big and nice. The swimming pool was lovely and they have some food options, but you are going to Siem Reap, so please just explore the city for food because there are so many options, local but also a lot of western restaurants! Also we did not have any issues with insects or mosquitoes :)
It was a bit out of the center but the tranquility makes up for it. If you plan to move around a lot we would suggest renting a scooter with Mr. Tom!
Very welcoming friendly staff
Bit disappointed to be charged for 4 bottles of water, considering we didn't have the room cleaned throughout our stay, by our choice.. Thought we would have got complimentary water daily if the room was serviced daily. Might be different in Cambodia, never been before
The pool is perfect place to relax! Special after visit Angkor Wat
10/10 staff and property 🙌
Lovely stay in Marirath Boutique Hotel! Our room was well equipped and having a balcony was a definite bonus! Bathroom was good and water pressure in the shower was good too. The hotel is further from the main city and there isn't much in terms of places to eat/things to see in that area, but it's only 9-10 minutes via tuktuk to the city centre and it's so easy to get one via Grab or via the hotel.
Once, there was no hot water in the evening, but this only happened once so assume it was due to a power cut.
There was also sometimes noise from construction work close by but it wasn't too loud and disruptive.
The staff is always in touch and always ready to help. Beautiful territory. Good breakfasts.
The room was uncomfortable, very old, and a lot of things were broken. In the hair conditioner dispenser, the product had dried out a long time ago, and I can’t even imagine how long it had been like that. No one refilled or replaced it. We weren’t given any soap, and there wasn’t even a soap dish.
