Think twice before booking as prices not honou

Cons:

When I arrived I was told there was an additional $38 charge over what I had paid via Booking.Com as they were “not authorised to sell at that price”. I was also told there had been a 2 year battle over prices, a class action lawsuit and the property would not be Motel 6 much longer as it was going independent. Makes me think the issue is with Motel 6 not booking.com. They could have contacted me prior to my arrival to tell me this and given me an option to cancel and go elsewhere. By the time I was there I could not cancel without penalty so just had to pay. Also, advertised as high speed internet connection. Was not given wi-fi password. As I went out to the Stockyards soon after my arrival and did not get back till after office closed I could not access internet.

Good value for money to be close to the Stockyards
Pros:

Relatively close to the stockyards which is exactly what I wanted. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and definitely went the extra mile to make me feel comfortable! We had some great chats. The room was big and clean and the bed was very comfortable. I enjoyed my stay :)

Bon rapport qualité prix. Le motel est bien, assez confortable pour le prix.

Qu'on nous demande de rajouter 40$ au prix sans vraie raison valable, hormis le fait que Booking n'avait soit disant pas les bons prix.

Location only a mile or so away from stockyards

Cons:

I locked in my booking rate for the hotel room but when I arrived there was another $23 difference that they had me pay for the room. Seems a little unfair on the booking site to feel like you have a locked in rate but ended up paying more

location very good near stockyards

Cons:

had paid online but then when checking in he said taxes were incorrect.had to paid an extra 26 dollors.as others have said booking.com need to sort this with the owner .very midleading pricing

It was ok. It’s not all that bad but needs to be wiped and mopped. Great location.
Pros:

The property was a great location. I had a place to sleep in short notice and my vehicle was not bothered with the ax was on point I slept good. The check in guy was sweet and friendly and helpful

Cons:

Our room door did not lock only through the kids safe lock on top. The room was decent not fairly clean as if it needed to be mopped. When we got back to our room past midnight we couldn’t get into my room. The night man was very rude told me to “go through the other door then said just come in and shut the door damn.” Had a very rude attitude.

I will definitely stay here again.
Pros:

It was a great location to the stockyards. The staff was very friendly. The room was clean and had one of a kind wood craftsmanship for accent tables.

Cons:

Property was fine. There was no iron, blow dryer or coffee but you can buy drinks and snacks at the front counter.

Petite surprise sur la deco de la chambre qui n’est pas du tout comme sur les photos du site!

Le ménage a l’entrée dans la chambre qui n’est pas terrible…
Attention au bruit de la route pour ceux qui ont le sommeil léger, prévoir des boules quies.
