PARKING: Private parking is located 50 metres away and costs €18 per night. Spaces are limited and must be reserved and confirmed in advance. Suitable only for cars, SUVs and motorcycles up to 1.80 m high. Vans and commercial vehicles are not accepted. Very low sports cars may scrape the access ramp.

OLD TOWN ACCESS: Vehicle access to the Old Town, where the hotel is located, is restricted. All guests arriving by car, even if not using the hotel parking, must provide their vehicle registration number at reception on arrival so that the hotel can authorise access and avoid fines.

IDENTIFICATION DOCUMENTS: According to local regulations, all guests must present a valid document at check-in. Accepted documents are passports, Spanish DNI/NIE, and equivalent EU national ID cards. Driving licences and non-EU ID cards are not accepted. Guests without a valid accepted document cannot be accommodated, and applicable cancellation fees will be charged.

MINORS: Minors must stay with their legal guardian. If travelling alone or with another adult, the hotel must be informed in advance so the specific case is reviewed and required authorisation can be and signed.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.
Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian.

Nasz pokój był niewielki, lecz posiadał wszystkie niezbędne udogodnienia. Klimatyzacja była bardzo wydajna, łóżko bardzo wygodne, a łazienka była nieskazitelnie czysta i zadbana. Wystrój pokoju był bardzo stylowy, cały hotel jest harmonijnie urządzony. Położenie hotelu jest wyśmienite-wychodzisz i czujesz Alicante całym sobą. Śniadania serwowane w hotelu również odpowiadały naszym wymaganiom.

Overall, a great stay and good value compared with the alternatives.

The location is excellent, right in the old town, with the beach and marina both around a five-minute stroll away. Our room (203) was spacious and spotlessly clean, with super-quiet AC, an extra-large comfortable bed and a small balcony.

Cons:

The only real downside was the soundproofing. We could clearly hear every footstep, toilet flush and tap running from the room above.

Parking and access were also more difficult than expected. The hotel parking was full, so we used the recommended Casino car park, which was only a five-minute walk away. It was also more expensive than we’d been told: €25 per day rather than the €16 quoted by the hotel receptionist.

The bigger issue was dropping off our bags. The hotel is in a restricted-access area (Google Maps got us there, although some other navigation apps didn’t). Once there, however, there isn’t really anywhere to stop without potentially obstructing larger vehicles. Within five minutes of stopping, we had horns sounding behind us, and it took another five minutes to finish unloading. Had we known, we’d simply have parked at the Casino and walked over with our bags, as we did at check-out.

It is in old town no roads or parking which is >1km away and costs more than hotel! Appalling facilities

A beautiful hotel with a warm, charming atmosphere that made my short stay feel truly special.
Pros:

I had a lovely stay at Hotel Les Monges from Sunday to Monday. The hotel is beautiful, the location is perfect, and the service was excellent. A special thank you to Deborah, who was incredibly friendly and welcoming. I would happily stay here again!

Pros:
